"We stayed from August 12th to 15th.
It's close to the downtown area and has bicycle rentals (1,000 yen per bicycle for 2 hours, with a 1,000 yen refund upon return. They also have parent-child bicycles), so we were able to have dinner at an izakaya about a 5-minute bike ride away. We went to an izakaya that offers complimentary service when you stay at the Vessel Hotel, so we got a free drink, which was a great deal! ☆
The lobby and rooms were clean, and the interior was a lovely Okinawan light blue theme.
The lobby offered free welcome drinks and ice cream, which the kids loved. 🎵
The staff were very friendly, and although breakfast was very crowded (since our ferry time was approaching), when we told them we'd eat in our room, they quickly found a seat for us, which was very helpful!
There was a sanshin live performance in the evening on August 14th, and many guests came to see it. ☆"

AAnonymous UserThe location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a three-minute walk to the bus terminal, and there are many famous local shops nearby. Plus, the street right next door turns into a lively Izakaya street in the evenings. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they always go out of their way to help us resolve any issues (they also offer services like taxi booking and car rental).
As for facilities, the first floor boasts a large public bath (onsen), a souvenir shop, a laundry room, and a swimming pool. The public bath is quite traditional, so do note its specific operating hours. If you happen to forget your waterproof bag, the shop sells them, though their quality isn't great for photography. On the third floor, you'll find an ice machine and vending machines for beer and other drinks, which is super convenient for a quick purchase, even with nearby convenience stores.
Our tour guide mentioned that the breakfast here is also excellent, but we didn't have enough time during our trip to add it to our package.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends! While the price point is mid-to-high range, I truly feel it offers excellent value for money.

GGuest UserLocation: 5 minutes walk from the bus to the remote island terminal from the airport.
Very convenient, visible from the 730 intersection.
Staff: Friendly and will explain anything you don't understand.
Food: Breakfast included. Light but sufficient. Water and tea are also provided after arrival. Depending on the time, beer and other alcoholic beverages are also available, which is a nice service.
I was rarely at the hotel and just went out, but it was really convenient because it was close to places to drink and I could walk home quickly. I would like to stay here again if there is space when I go to Ishigaki Island.

GGuest UserBudget hotel, which is located in a very convenient place. Nearby is the port, bus terminal, market, various cafes and shops. I really liked this hotel for its comfort and simplicity. For breakfast they gave me bento, which was enough for two meals. On the day of departure I took bento for the road, and this food was enough until the evening.

OOikoroIt's very convenient, close to the remote island terminal, bus center, and downtown. The facilities are old, but the rooms were well-cleaned and clean. The bathroom was spacious and there was no inconvenience. I stayed for two nights, and although the room wasn't cleaned, there was a towel set hanging on the door handle when I returned home, and I was given a drink voucher. However, I wonder if the walls are thin... I'll definitely come back.

The biggest advantage of this inn is its good location and reasonable price.
The base for sightseeing, including the Yaeyama Islands, is the Euglena Remote Island Terminal. You can reach this remote island terminal in 4-5 minutes on foot from your room. The entrance to the inn is also in the Euglena Mall shopping district, so it is convenient for buying souvenirs, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby, making it the center of Ishigaki Island. This time I stayed here in a single room for less than 3,000 yen per night. As the inn's sign says ”For Backpackers,” the facility is simple, but there were no particular concerns about hygiene, the rooftop was available, and the receptionist was very kind. I'm the type who likes to eat and drink outside, so I rarely use the Yuntaku space, but it's also good for people who like to talk with other guests. It's nice to stay with friends and have fun with awamori in the Yuntaku space, or you can eat and talk while eating and drinking at the tables and benches on the rooftop. This is recommended for those who are price-conscious but also want convenience.
