Hanting Hotels in Beijing

The hotel is conveniently located right by the North Exit of Beijing South Station. The rooms are clean, and the cleaning staff are very kind and diligent. They also provide recommendations for nearby restaurants. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the dining area is very clean. You can easily check the availability of the laundry room at any time via the TV in your room.

The service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and considerate with our luggage. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was great. The hotel's software (service/operations) was top-notch. However, there's a significant design flaw: the hotel's layout doesn't cater well to guests' needs. Most guests staying near the airport travel with large luggage, but there are high steps at the hotel entrance, and you have to go up more steps to reach the elevators from the lobby. There's only one narrow ramp for pushing luggage, and no luggage carts are available. This is very inconvenient for guests with large bags.

The hotel's location is great, with convenient transportation, very close to the North Gate. For the Temple of Heaven, you can enter through the East Gate and exit through the North Gate. Also, the Gongjing Li Qiangyu hotpot downstairs is delicious, and the roasted duck isn't too fishy.

The room was clean and tidy, with a refreshing and comfortable space. The location is excellent, with very convenient transportation, close to Beijing Railway Station and Metro Line 2, saving time and effort for travel. Commuting to key attractions like Tiananmen Square is easy, making it suitable for both leisure sightseeing and short trips.

I chose this hotel because it's very close to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Scenic Area, making it convenient to visit various attractions on Zijin Mountain. The room was clean and well-equipped, offering a quiet and comfortable stay. The staff was responsive, and check-in was smooth. Staying here when visiting Zhongshan Scenic Area saved a lot of travel hassle. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience.

The hotel is really close to Zhengyangmen, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to Tiananmen Square. Right next to it is the Dashilar commercial street, with tons of food options, including all sorts of Beijing specialty snacks and dishes. As a chain hotel, it maintains consistent standards, so it's very clean and you can stay with peace of mind. They have a laundry room with washing and drying machines, so you don't need to pack too many clothes when traveling. The dryers prevent clothes from smelling musty, as they're high-end industrial machines, much better than household ones, and they even self-disinfect. This is precisely why I always choose Huazhu hotels for my travels.

I chose this hotel specifically to see the special exhibition at Wenhua Palace. It's super close to the Forbidden City, about a 20-minute walk. I booked a windowless double room, but the guy at the front desk gave me a free upgrade to a double room with a window, which was great! 👍 He even heard I was going to the Forbidden City and specifically told me it's quicker to cut through the Cultural Palace (which requires a ticket). The hotel is clean and tidy, and there's key card access to the guest rooms, so security is good.

This hotel, opened in September, is brand new, but the smell is overwhelming. The room's window is fake, leading to an enclosed space with no ventilation, so the strong smell of new decoration is very noticeable. I called the front desk at night to request a room change, and they told me all king rooms had these fake, internal windows. To get a room with a real window facing the street, which is a 'deluxe king room,' I'd have to pay extra. We reluctantly agreed and requested a room with a real window. After waiting a long time for the robot to deliver the key card, and moving all our luggage, we found ourselves in yet another room with a fake window. We finally had to go downstairs and speak to the manager to get a room with a real window. The most bizarre part was that with so many vacant rooms, they moved us from east to west, and then finally to a smaller room. We were still changing rooms and moving luggage past midnight. Sigh. I guess the hotel is just too new and lacks management experience. For health reasons, it's probably best to wait until 2027 to stay here again...

Families, who understands this?! I've unearthed a hidden gem of a hotel 🏨💥 that I'm desperate to recommend to the whole world! The stay experience was absolutely divine, who gets it?! The service was beyond amazing! The front desk lady spoke so gently and proactively asked if I needed a choice of pillow types. When I returned to my room in the evening, I found a thermos and a handwritten goodnight card on the bedside table. The thoughtful details were so heartwarming it almost brought tears to my eyes 🥹 Promise me! Next time you're in this city, you *have* to try this place! If it's not a good stay, you can come hit me! (Just kidding!)

He even proactively shared recommendations for local food and transportation tips, which were incredibly useful. I had an urgent need to print some documents, and he immediately helped me out, showing patience and professionalism. From check-in to check-out, I felt genuinely cared for. His professional service made me feel right at home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time, and a big thumbs up for Li Feng's excellent service!
