Pet Friendly Hotels in Beijing

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, located between the North 5th and North 6th Ring Roads. It saves some time driving to the Great Wall compared to starting from downtown. It's a very large compound with seven courtyards, featuring water features and beautiful scenery. On the day we checked in, there was a strong wind and a cold front, so it felt chilly, but thankfully the hotel provided heating pads. We used them like hot water bottles when sleeping. Upon check-in, the lovely lady at the front desk helped us upgrade to a family room, which included a tent and some toys. Our child absolutely loved it and said they want to come back again. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the service was excellent; staff members always tried their best to help with any issues. On our departure day, my child left their story machine behind, and the same lovely lady at the front desk promptly informed us. The courtyard also has many small animals like peacocks, mini pigs, and rabbits, and we even saw a baby peacock. It's quite suitable for families.

The room is located in a small courtyard, with a wonderful family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the environment is beautiful. The bed was especially clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The Marshall speakers were super nice, and I especially liked the cats and the sunroom where you can sunbathe. Amenities: Excellent, with Marshall speakers, Panasonic air conditioning, and a dehumidifier. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Very beautiful and comfortable, with lots of flowers and plants. Service: The butler service was excellent, and you could ask them for any questions. Welcome Fruit and Drinks: The room was stocked with seasonal fruit, and the fruit on the living room table was also edible. Tea Break in the Sunshine Glass Garden: The century-old Qinglinchun jasmine tea was fragrant, and the butler would serve you some fruit or snacks. It was so relaxing to sit on the terrace and enjoy tea.

This guesthouse was absolutely fantastic, much better than a hotel! The room was huge, easily almost 90 square meters. We were given a high-floor, south-facing room, and even with four of us, there was still plenty of space. Right downstairs, there's a specialty commercial street with all sorts of delicious food and fun things to do. I have to give a special shout-out to the butler service. I got an upset stomach in the middle of the night, and since I'm not familiar with the area, the butler personally took me to Chaoyang Hospital. That kind of service truly deserves praise! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

LOCATION : Apartment is facing Hutong life (historic alleyways and traditional courtyard homes (siheyuan). 10mins walk to Dongsi Train Station (Exit E, Line 5 & 6), McDonalds and supermarket (next to Dongsi Train Station Exit B). 3 - 5mins walk to main road & minimart, a lot of local brand shops and restaurants along the main road. Infront of the apartment is Longfusi (Longfu) area. A lot of local stalls, nice place to chill. Most are local brand shops and well known brands will be 7-11 convenient store, Arabica (% Arabica) coffee shop, Miniso (variety store) and Muji (fashion store). 30mins walk/ 15mins drive to Wangfujing Street (Beijing’s most iconic and bustling pedestrian shopping avenues). 30mins car ride to Niujie St (Muslim area). 15mins car ride to Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City. 1.5hr drive to Great Wall of China (note : The Great Wall has multiple entrances depending on which section you visit. For the highly-rated, restored Mutianyu section (73 km from Beijing), you will arrive at the main Visitor Center and proceed to either the North Entrance (for the cable car) or the South Entrance (for the chairlift and toboggan). Cable car and chairlift, no age limit. Toboggan, 60yrs old and above not allowed to ride)). CLEANLINESS : Room is clean and not carpet flooring, so cleaner and no stain. Queen bed and Queen sofa bed are a bit hard, but OK. Toilet clean, but have mold stubborn stains between the tiles. SERVICE : 24hrs helpdesk. Excellent and very helpful front desk. 1) We wanted to send parcel to a friend in Shenzhen, front desk helped us to book the pick up service using their own phone (we Wechat pay to the front desk staff). 2) We wanted to buy something urgently, and none of the stores sell, but we found the item online and ask front desk to help us buy, cause we don't have local no. and don't know how to navigate the app (no English translation). Front desk bought for us online and we pay them via WeChat again. 1 hour later, the item arrived! 3) Inside the room, there is no phone to contact the front desk. But they do provide us their Wechat QR code, so we can contact them, 24/7! Their reply is so fast, even I texted them at 1am! Less than 15 seconds, they replied! So efficient! Over all, China is so efficient and convenient. FACILITIES : Small gym and pool table available at Level B1. Wheelchair/pram friendly. TV channels, not many selection, mostly all local channels. No English news channels available. No iron board, must request from front desk. Washing machine is clean, come with dryer function (note : need 3hrs to dry the clothes. We wash the clothes at 11pm. Once washing is done after 1 hour, we set to drying mode. Next day morning, the clothes still hot inside the machine. Nice!). Level 1 lobby, they have a room to keep parcels. If you have friends who want to deliver parcel to you or you order online, can send to the apartment directly, but you need to collect the parcel from the parcel room yourself. FOOD : A few halal restaurants near the apartment, but mostly serve beef. If you are not a beef person, you try 紫光园 Ziguangyuan Halal Restaurant (inside Longfu/Longsi area) they serve nice Beijing Roast Duck! They have a lot of outlets, one is near Wangfujing St and another one at Niujie St.

The room was very clean and pet-friendly. The front desk staff were incredibly responsible and enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They were particularly patient and helpful when we asked for local information. The lady at the front desk even went above and beyond her duties by helping us make copies, which is why I highly recommend this hotel. There are also many great food options within walking distance, which was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was light and delicious, perfect before heading out for the day.

The most touching things are often the kindness in the details. The front desk staff were professional and gentle, keenly aware of guests' needs, and proactively offered help with thoughtfulness and care. There was no excessive politeness, just sincere and attentive service. The apartment had a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, and because of this warmth, the trip gained a sense of belonging. Definitely worth revisiting! 😊😊

This time I was traveling alone and encountering such a hotel really added a lot to my trip. From the moment you step into the hotel, you feel the meticulous service. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and the check-in process was efficient and fast. They also introduced me to the surrounding attractions and food. After entering the room, the first impression is that it is clean and tidy. The bed was made meticulously, the sheets and quilts were immaculately white, and exuded a fresh smell. The floor is spotless and there is no dust or debris in the corners. The bathroom facilities are also very clean, the toiletries are neatly placed, the drainage in the shower room is smooth, and there is no water stain left. During my stay, I encountered some minor problems, such as the air conditioning temperature adjustment in the room was not very sensitive. When I reported it to the front desk, the maintenance staff rushed to the room quickly, quickly solved the problem, and were friendly and patiently explained to me the possible causes of the problem, which made me feel very at ease. In addition, the hotel's health services are also worthy of praise. Staff will clean the room on time every day, change towels and replenish toiletries. The public areas are also kept in a good state of cleanliness, which makes people feel happy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay. The hotel not only performs well in terms of service, but also impeccable in terms of hygiene. The cleanliness of the room provided me with a comfortable resting environment, and the efficient and responsible attitude of the staff helped me solve the problems I encountered, making me feel the warmth of home during my trip. I'm surprised that I have a washing machine. The convinient store in ground floor cater enough for what I need. The eating outlets nearby is superb. Nice.

Although the receptionist speaks little English, they are very warm and welcoming. Ready to serve and proactive especially the lady by the name of 姜叶. She has been communicating with me to ensure that I have no problem with my check-in. Mutianyu Great Wall Hotel (MGWH) is located in Mutianyu Scenic Area thus required to submit our vehicle number prior to entering the area. MGWH is stone away from the cable car /chair lift entrance. It's quiet and serene in the night especially when all the tourists leave after visiting Mutianyu Great Wall. The hotel was so considerate when I informed them that I have 2 elderly traveling on this trip. They upgraded us to a family room as there are lesser steps and stairs for the elderly. The rooms are big and the shower's pressure is good. The breakfast is a simple Chinese selection such as porridge, wontons , bao, fried rice, vegetables, pickles. They do have salad, bread, eggs and baked beans. The hotel also provides unlimited entrance to Mutianyu Great Wall. A RMB20 off each of the round trip cable tickets. No special discount for the lift chairs or Toboggan's ride. Each way @ RMB100 for a single trip up the Great Wall. You can get a round trip at RMB140 for a combined ticket of lift chair + Toboggan. The Toboggan ride is fun and exciting but the downside was that people over 60yo are strictly not allowed to take the ride. CON - there's nothing to do in the night in MGWH., very good to relax after a day up at the Great Wall. Eating is also limited - the hotel restaurant (closed at 8pm), I think depends on the season. Depending on where your room is, the hotel restaurant may be inconvenient especially for our elderly that need to climb the stairs to reach the restaurant. and a nearby restaurant that closes at 630pm. The owner was very nice and agreed to serve us even when we were there after 6pm. she called the chef to request him to stay back for us. Food quality is reasonable.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is super convenient, close to the subway station and major attractions, with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient, and even kindly upgraded my room type. The room was spacious and clean, with a modern and cozy decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, good water pressure, and quality toiletries. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or the street.
