”If you come to Universal Studios, you can't go wrong with this place! The lady boss is so nice! She is warm and considerate, and she took care of us like family from check-in to check-out. The homestay is clean and cozy, and you can grill in the yard. I asked for two breakfasts, and the lady boss specially prepared a small portion of wontons for me because I was with my children. She is a super nice lady boss! I will definitely stay here next time~

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this apartment in central Beijing. The host was incredibly responsive—even replying at 5 AM—and was always quick to resolve any issues or provide anything we needed. Their attentiveness really made a difference.
The apartment itself was very spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. It also offered a beautiful view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

MMeiyincidufuHighly, highly recommended!!! Our group of four climbed Dongling Mountain this morning, and the scenery was so beautiful we didn't want to go back to Beijing. On a whim, we wanted to find a hot spring hotel nearby where we could relax and soak, and we found this one. The scenery was absolutely stunning!!! The entire village has excellent red-themed architecture and a very positive atmosphere. Even the small village museum's 3D video was quite good, creating a great ambiance, and in the morning, you could see the iconic red star right outside your window!! And the best part? The hot spring was incredibly relaxing! Enjoying a barbecue in the misty mountains, listening to the rain while soaking in the hot spring… friends, it was indescribably comfortable!!
The owner and the manager were very kind, providing us with free breakfast. After breakfast, we immediately bought two jars of the same fermented bean curd online—it was so delicious, hahaha!
In short, a perfect recommendation, we will definitely go again!!!

TTravelForFreedomA very pleasant stay in a big room at a good location for 2 + 6 nights. All cars that we took could enter the narrow alley except for the first night that we had to walk about 300 metres to the place when the road was under construction. The shower room comes with heating and so it was nice to be able to shower in a warm room. Service was friendly and prompt. Those cleaning ladies were exceptionally hardworking.
All went well until the last 2 nights with a new neighbour whom we believed was a light sleeper who banged hard on the wall to signal us to quiet down at about 10 pm when we didn't even really speak loudly. Feedback to the counter and they offered us immediately a change of room for sleeping that we declined since it was our last night there.
Will recommend Base as most will not run into bad luck like us to have such neighbour (it will be nice if they could come to us and tell us politely or feedback to the counter to inform us instead of banging on the wall so rudely).

Very Good
HHuhufishOverall the hotel itself is conveniently located in the heart of attractions. Just 5mins walk uphill to Cable car (View point 15) while opposite the hotel is the Chair lift (2 pax pet lift) entrance (View point 6).
The hotel provide discount for a round trip Cable car ticket.
Ample restaurant, convenient store, Subway sandwich and small local vendors situated along the opposite street. Walking distance.
Personally recommended to start your climb early after the hotel breakfast, 8-8.30am to avoid crowd as most tour bus will arrive by 10am. If you wish to descend via Tobagon, you may need to walk all the way down to view point 6 - ticket purchase on the spot.
Anyone who appreciate nature, a little bit of cultural touch throughtout the stay, Mutianyu Hotel will be a great choice. Side note, do keep your window close if you are not in favor of bugs as we are surrounded by nature :)

TTubaluThe room was quite spacious, offering excellent value for money at this price point. The soundproofing was good too; despite being close to the airport, I barely heard any plane noise. The service was warm and attentive. It's a decent walk to the subway station, but getting a taxi is very convenient.

XXingzoudeyun~The room is spacious and bright, with a large window that has a great view. It feels like you are looking far away from a high place, and you feel happy immediately. I like the vases and paintings of different styles in the room, which make the room lively and feel like you are at home. The hotel service is also very good

AAnonymous UserIt’s such a cute little place to stay at with awesome views. The owners are so sweet! We checked in late because of a missed train and they helped us despite the late hour! Excellent food and cool animals on site. 10/10 would return the next time I’m in Beijing! 🤩

GGuest UserBoth the elderly and children are satisfied. There is a lot for the children to play. The swimming pool and handicraft classes are also free. Parking is very convenient and free. There is only a buffet in the evening. The staff said they were too busy to order a la carte. This is very bad. We went out to eat. dinner. Breakfast was average but not enough.
