From the moment I arrived at the hotel entrance, my butler, Melody, personally greeted me and assisted with check-in. Throughout my entire stay, from check-in to my departure, she maintained a perfectly proactive yet unobtrusive service rhythm – meticulous and thoughtful, yet making me feel comfortable and at ease. Whenever I needed assistance, she was promptly there, while also maintaining appropriate boundaries. This professional yet warm and personalized service truly showcased Mandarin Oriental's service excellence.
I also want to specially commend Carla at the front desk. She was incredibly efficient and professional during both check-in and check-out, with smooth processes and a very warm and friendly attitude.
The dining experience was equally impressive. While dining at The Courtyard, Iris provided professional and detailed introductions for each dish, making the meal much richer and more enjoyable. For in-room dining, I chose to have hot pot in the courtyard, and Daisy and her team made thorough preparations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the overall setup was exquisitely arranged, creating a fantastic ambiance and perfect photo opportunities. The experience was absolutely exceptional.
Regarding the SPA, I'd like to extend a special thanks to Tiana at the front desk. She patiently explained the different treatments and helped me choose one that was perfectly suited for me. The next day, I returned for a facial treatment. The entire process was incredibly smooth and relaxing, and both therapists, Ivy and Sunny, were highly professional. The experience was excellent.
Every single staff member I encountered during my stay was highly dedicated, and you could truly feel the team's commitment to service quality. My experience at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was delightful, and I look forward to returning in the future.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, and the room was clean and tidy. The service was also very warm and attentive. I remember one day when I ordered takeout, the restaurant didn't include cutlery. I contacted room service, and they quickly brought some up, which was a huge help. Also, on our third day, we had previously booked a different room type, and the front desk had already completed the room change for us early in the morning, allowing us to continue with our day's plans without any worries – truly commendable. Many thanks to the concierge for helping us receive several packages over these past few days. Our stay was excellent.

GGuest UserThis stay was a significant improvement over my last one! I'd informed the front desk in advance about my room preferences, and they specifically arranged a high-floor, quiet room for me. My sleep was undisturbed throughout the stay. The soundproofing was excellent with the windows closed at night, and even with them open during the day for ventilation, there was no disturbance. My baby slept incredibly soundly. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. As a new hotel, the facilities are all very new and well-equipped. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful; they addressed my concerns about room orientation upon check-in, and their responses were consistently prompt. My experience was absolutely fantastic! You can really tell they genuinely care about every guest. All the previous issues I encountered were gone, and there's no need to worry about the noise problems mentioned in older reviews. I highly recommend staying here; just let the front desk know your needs in advance!

I wasn't familiar with the local area, and a staff member even personally escorted me to where my Didi (ride-sharing service) was waiting, which was really thoughtful! I'll definitely be back next time.

GGuest UserThe room was very quiet 👏🏻. They provided beverages, bottled water, coffee, and all the necessary amenities. Ordering takeout was super convenient too, with lots of halal options nearby 😍😋. A robot even delivers your order to the room! 😊 There's a laundry room on the basement floor with individually packaged laundry detergent, and the washing machines are fully functional. My clothes came out smelling great… I highly recommend staying here!

YYongyuanzaijianfeidexiaochihuoTraveling to Beijing with my kids for a concert, after much deliberation, I still chose the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel I've always loved! Their consistently thoughtful service and excellent food proved my decision was spot on, haha~
The location of Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is unbeatable; it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with plenty of shopping malls and great dining options nearby. The large terrace on the 5th floor offers stunning views, and this time I even managed to capture the Forbidden City at sunset~
The semi-buffet breakfast with a la carte options is very convenient, and all the pastries are handmade daily, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed~

Next door is Siji Minfu Roast Duck (delicious!) and Tong Ren Tang, where I bought some skincare products. The room was clean, the service was great, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Before I left, they even gave me some Daohuacun snacks. Thank you all!

MMrFineFineFineBooking was a breeze, and the cancellation policy was flexible, which was great since it's so close to Beijing South Railway Station. Check-in at the front desk was super efficient. Wendy, who assisted me, was incredibly clear and organized, explaining everything from upgrades and breakfast options to elevator directions. She really turned my mood around after a frustrating experience with a taxi driver. The room was spacious and wonderfully bright. It had all the amenities, including a capsule coffee machine. I especially loved the creamer pods the hotel provided – a shot of espresso with a pod of creamer was perfect. One small thing: there's an iron burn mark on the luggage rack. Also, be aware that the shower defaults to the overhead rain shower, even though there's a sign. I didn't notice it at first and got a cold shower right away! Not sure what the design intention behind that is. Breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee, and many items were freshly prepared, showing the chefs really put thought into their offerings. Xidan, with all its dining and shopping, is just a short walk to the right from the hotel entrance. For anyone with a budget under 1200, I highly recommend this place. A tip for getting from South Station to the hotel: don't take a taxi. Drivers will often refuse short fares. Use a ride-hailing app instead. Unfortunately, my company's policy doesn't cover ride-hailing, so I ended up with an unnecessarily frustrating business trip experience.

DDadadelvxingmengxiangThis is our second time staying at the Commune by the Great Wall, and the experience was once again superb – we felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay! This time, we chose the Red House, and its orientation was perfect. Being east-west facing, it received warm sunshine all day long, making it so cozy and peaceful.
The Red House No. 3 has a unique and artistic architectural design. Especially at sunset, the light and shadows stream into the room, creating a beautiful and healing atmosphere – every photo we took looked like it belonged in a magazine. It's pet-friendly, and our little dog absolutely loved the environment here. The only minor inconvenience is that pets aren't allowed in the hotel restaurant. I hope they could set up a pet-sitting area near the restaurant entrance, so pets could roam around while their owners dine.
Moreover, the butler service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. They proactively recommended places suitable for children to play and local specialty dishes, which was very detailed and heartwarming. Overall, the stay was a perfect 10, definitely worth coming back to again and again!
