AAnonymous UserWe stayed here for a few nights during Chinese New Year with our family, and overall it was a very warm and comfortable experience. The butler team, especially April, meticulously tracked our needs and preferences, expertly arranging our room and attending to small details throughout our stay. When we were in our room, the housekeeping staff tried their best to quickly tidy up without disturbing us. Bonnie at the Yanting restaurant carefully observed our needs during our meals, and the Korean gentleman at Vicini recommended a pizza that was absolutely delicious! He also shared many interesting stories behind the dishes, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable (dinner at Vicini was superb). A truly delightful surprise during our stay was the gold leaf painting class taught by Mr. Jerry Li. This was part of the Chinese New Year activities, and not only was his explanation detailed, but he also took a family photo for us and presented it in a frame. What a wonderful surprise! Genuine service truly wins! We'll definitely be back to experience it again in different seasons.

AAnonymous UserTook my daughter to Beijing for the Qingming Festival and specifically chose the Wanda Vista Beijing. The overall experience was fantastic, with warm and attentive service: from the concierge to the front desk, all the staff were incredibly friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep after a tiring day of sightseeing. The location is also very convenient, close to the Guomao business district, making travel hassle-free.

CCaicaiwodingleshuijiajiudianTraveling with my family and stopping over in Beijing, Xilian Meijing was the perfect choice! It's right next to Beijing West Railway Station, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The hotel has been recently renovated with a simple yet elegant design. The rooms are well-equipped, the A/C and hot water work great, and the soundproofing is good too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering to carry our luggage. They really pay attention to the details, making our stay comfortable and worry-free. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe room facilities, location, and overall appearance were excellent – beautiful and very clean! Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and enthusiastic! I wasn't familiar with the local area, and a staff member even personally escorted me to where my Didi (ride-sharing service) was waiting, which was really thoughtful! I'll definitely be back next time.

GGuest UserThe bedding was super comfortable. It was very thoughtful of them to offer two extra days of free breakfast for our child who is under 1.2 meters, and they even extended our check-out by an hour. Our whole family had a wonderful stay. The executive lounge was very convenient; the food wasn't too heavily flavored and there was plenty of fruit, which was perfect for our little one's meals. We'll definitely be back. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the succulents were beautiful! Plus, the window seats in the lounge offer a stunning view of the Forbidden City.

YYudan56We chose the 'Little Yellow Duck' themed family room, and my daughter absolutely adored it when we entered – it was just too cute and had a wonderful atmosphere! The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the subway station, and within walking distance to attractions like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The service was excellent, truly excellent. The downstairs 'Siji Minfu' Peking Duck restaurant is a famous Beijing eatery, usually with a wait time of over three hours. The hotel staff thoughtfully reminded us to get a ticket in advance. After spending the day sightseeing, I asked the staff to help me get a ticket, and they managed to get one three hours early – fantastic! On top of that, my knees were a bit sore from all the walking at the Forbidden City, so I asked the hotel for ice to compress them. They even went to a bubble tea shop to get a big bag of ice, huffing and puffing as they brought it up – truly above and beyond! Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose the Manxin Hotel Tian'anmen Wangfujing again.

AAnonymous UserNestled by the picturesque Xianghu Lake, Hangzhou Xiaoyao Manor offered me a true escape from the bustling city. The hotel masterfully blends the secluded pathways of traditional Jiangnan gardens with sleek, modern design, creating a serene ambiance where every step reveals a new scenic view and a sense of tranquility. My room was spacious and elegantly appointed, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the stunning mountain and lake scenery indoors. The amenities were thoughtfully chosen and high-quality. The service was absolutely impeccable; from arrival to departure, every staff member greeted me with a genuine smile. Whether it was a morning jog by the lake or an evening drink at the lobby bar, everything contributed to a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. This isn't just a place to stay; it's a therapeutic retreat for the mind and soul. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Hangzhou.

QQuin56Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.

GGuest UserOverall, the experience was great, and the service was excellent; it truly felt like a home away from home. My room was even upgraded to a fantastic type. Every time I passed the front desk, they would warmly greet me and ask if I needed any help. It happened to snow during my stay in Beijing, which was absolutely beautiful. Special shoutout to Yuanyuan at the front desk, who made our stay feel incredibly warm and welcoming. Excellent, I'll definitely be back next time! 💗💗💗

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.
