Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

The hotel is located in a hutong right by Shichahai, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The service is warm and welcoming, and the security guard at the entrance and the young ladies at the front desk left a wonderful impression on us. The breakfast was also delicious, and the buy-one-get-one-free offer made it feel like great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Beijing!

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. The room was large and clean. Both the front desk and the cleaning lady were very enthusiastic and helpful. There was unlimited drinking water in the room. The service was very thoughtful. Next time I have the chance to come to Beijing, this will be my first choice!

I specifically came to the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing for a little healing getaway and to finally cross it off my bucket list—after all, it's been saved on my wishlist for five years. At this price point, MO really speaks for itself: seamless service procedures and a genuinely warm, effortless hospitality. I’d like to give a few specific shout-outs: At breakfast, I always prefer my Americano piping hot. Instead of lecturing me about how super-hot coffee ruins the flavor, the staff simply delivered it exactly as requested. It would have been even better if the cup had been pre-warmed! Also, to the lovely young lady who took my order (forgive me for not catching your name): you are so approachable and warm, please be more confident in yourself! I highly recommend booking an evening spa treatment during your stay; heading straight back to your room to sleep afterward is the ultimate recharge for both body and soul. Special thanks to therapist Minnie and spa receptionist Lawerence for their exceptional service. Even though I purchased my spa voucher via their official WeChat mini-program, they treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. To the front desk team and the duty manager—forgive me once again for forgetting your names—since we interacted the most, I truly appreciated how prompt and thoughtful your responses were. It completely avoided the common issue with domestic ”butler services” where style often trumps substance. A chat group was set up even before my arrival, and whether it was via text, phone, or in person, all my requests and questions, big or small, were handled promptly. Traveling solo, feeling so well cared for and pampered truly touched my heart. Please pass along my gratitude to all the team members, whether I remembered their names or not. The room design was very Chinese and absolutely beautiful! The stay experience was excellent. The bedding was very comfortable. The laundry room was well-equipped, making laundry very convenient. The front desk staff had a wonderful attitude.

What a lucky find to discover such a brand-new, high-quality courtyard hotel nestled right in the prime hutongs of Beijing's Second Ring Road! Siya Jasmine Courtyard Hotel has just opened, and the entire property is impeccably maintained. The charming, traditional Chinese courtyard infused with subtle jasmine scents creates a flawless blend of authentic old-Beijing vibes and relaxed luxury. The amenities easily rival those of high-end boutique hotels. The rooms feature smart controls so you can manage everything by voice commands. The bathroom has a smart three-piece layout with sparkling clean, brand-new fixtures, along with thoughtful touches like alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers—an absolute dream for germaphobes. The room is spacious, the mattress and pillows offer just the right balance of comfort and support, and it was so quiet at night that you couldn't hear any traffic from the hutongs at all. The service offers a true butler-style experience. The staff are warm, gentle, and always ready to help. They even proactively upgraded our room and gave us great recommendations for local hutong eateries and sightseeing routes. The facilities are also top-notch, featuring a 24-hour self-service laundry room, a gym, and a tea room, making extended stays a breeze. The location couldn't be better. Tucked away in the Dongsi hutongs, it's just a short walk to Dongsi Subway Station, making it super easy to visit the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Lama Temple, with local hutong street food right outside the door. Staying in a traditional siheyuan—exploring historic imperial sites by day and sipping tea peacefully in the courtyard by night—is truly the most authentic way to experience Beijing. This place is definitely on my go-to list, and I'll be back on my next trip to Beijing!

This hotel is absolute perfection! The check-in experience far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, and despite being right on the pedestrian street, the soundproofing was great. The only minor inconvenience was that the bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area 😂. The staff were warm, attentive, and quick to respond 24/7. The hotel's location is super convenient, very close to Zhushikou Subway Station, with great transportation links all around. There is plenty of amazing food nearby—you can eat and shop your way through the neighborhood! Incredible value for money, highly recommended to all travelers looking for a great stay on a budget!

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. I've stayed at Ascott many times, and it's consistently excellent in all aspects. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the amenities like the fridge and washing machine are all fully equipped. The environment is also very quiet; you barely hear any noise. It's super convenient for dining and drinks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's also Xiao Taihou Park close by, and it's not far from the subway station – about a 10-minute scooter ride.

I have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.
