Universal Studios: Excellent Value for Money! 📍Location: Just a 15-minute drive from Universal Studios. There's a shuttle service in the mornings, or a taxi ride costs just the minimum fare. 🏨Rooms: The hotel boasts a strong design aesthetic, and the rooms are spacious. I was staying for my birthday, and unfortunately, a room upgrade wasn't possible, nor was complimentary breakfast offered, which was a slight disappointment. 🍽Dining: The hotel is connected to Wanli Mall, offering a wide array of dining options. You can also contact the front desk to have food deliveries brought up to your room, which is a convenient amenity. ✨Overall Impression: Highly recommended for a Universal Studios trip! It's unbeatable value for money; the money you save can be used for Express Pass or VIP access, which is a great deal. Even if you're not going to Universal, it's a very comfortable place for a staycation. The rooftop bar has a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing drink in your free time. I hope the hotel maintains its current excellent amenities. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next Universal trip.

As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury, making for an amazing experience. The location deserves special praise; it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to both Metro Line 1 and Line 10, making transportation completely effortless. Turn left out of the hotel entrance, and within 50 meters, you're at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options it's hard to choose. All your retail therapy and culinary cravings are easily satisfied~ The room was an even bigger surprise. It was incredibly spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window, in particular, offered an excellent view—it was so comfortable just lying there and enjoying the scenery. The amenities were also comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept like a baby, straight through till morning, feeling completely refreshed. The breakfast is also worth mentioning. There was a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, so many choices that I felt satisfied every morning. The staff were enthusiastic and polite throughout my stay, always thinking of the guests' needs. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and they definitely deserve a big thumbs up! I had such a wonderful stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town~

For the past four or five years, I've visited Beijing once or twice annually, and each time I stay at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel. The location is excellent; the hotel is situated at the entrance of Wangfujing Commercial Street, just a 5-minute walk from the National Art Museum and Jinyu Hutong stations on Metro Line 8. The hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. The absolute highlight is the panoramic view of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park right outside the window. The breakfast selection is extensive. You can choose to dine on the first floor or in the executive lounge on the 17th floor. The executive lounge offers complimentary soft drinks and coffee all day, as well as afternoon tea and dinner, which is very convenient. I must particularly commend the hotel's service. This trip, I was traveling with my parents and had booked different room types, but we wanted to be on the same floor. Special thanks to Cherry for patiently understanding my request and helping me achieve this during the peak National Day holiday period. During check-in, Jasmine was meticulous and patient, and she arranged for our luggage to be delivered to our room while we were out exploring. At check-out, Cecilia was gentle, friendly, professional, and efficient. Any time a concierge saw guests with luggage in the lobby, they immediately came over to assist. On one occasion, I mumbled that I hadn't brought any water while we were heading out, and a concierge instantly offered me a bottle of drinking water. Five-star service truly lies in these small details. Highly recommended!

I specifically came to the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing for a little healing getaway and to finally cross it off my bucket list—after all, it's been saved on my wishlist for five years. At this price point, MO really speaks for itself: seamless service procedures and a genuinely warm, effortless hospitality. I’d like to give a few specific shout-outs: At breakfast, I always prefer my Americano piping hot. Instead of lecturing me about how super-hot coffee ruins the flavor, the staff simply delivered it exactly as requested. It would have been even better if the cup had been pre-warmed! Also, to the lovely young lady who took my order (forgive me for not catching your name): you are so approachable and warm, please be more confident in yourself! I highly recommend booking an evening spa treatment during your stay; heading straight back to your room to sleep afterward is the ultimate recharge for both body and soul. Special thanks to therapist Minnie and spa receptionist Lawerence for their exceptional service. Even though I purchased my spa voucher via their official WeChat mini-program, they treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. To the front desk team and the duty manager—forgive me once again for forgetting your names—since we interacted the most, I truly appreciated how prompt and thoughtful your responses were. It completely avoided the common issue with domestic ”butler services” where style often trumps substance. A chat group was set up even before my arrival, and whether it was via text, phone, or in person, all my requests and questions, big or small, were handled promptly. Traveling solo, feeling so well cared for and pampered truly touched my heart. Please pass along my gratitude to all the team members, whether I remembered their names or not. Thank you all for making my National Day holiday truly complete.

The room design was very Chinese and absolutely beautiful! The stay experience was excellent. The bedding was very comfortable. The laundry room was well-equipped, making laundry very convenient. The front desk staff had a wonderful attitude.

My stay at Cordis, Beijing Capital Airport added a touch of comfort to my journey. The hotel features an elegant ambiance, spotless public areas, and well-equipped guest rooms, making it a very relaxing and reassuring place to rest. A special thanks to Tina at the front desk. She was warm and welcoming during check-in, thorough in her work, and thoughtfully reminded me of important details. Her service was both professional and heartwarming. It's the top choice for accommodation near the airport, perfect for catching a flight or a short stopover!

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. ⭐ A Comfortable Stay with Beautiful Walking Paths and a Great Breakfast We had a really pleasant stay at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Tongzhou. Overall, the hotel is comfortable, spacious, and a nice choice if you want a relaxing stay away from the busiest parts of central Beijing. 🛏️ Comfortable Rooms & Great Beds One of the things we enjoyed most was the room. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep after a long day. Many of the rooms also have bathtubs, which is a really nice touch if you enjoy having a relaxing bath during your stay. The rooms felt spacious and comfortable, and overall the hotel has a pleasant, upscale atmosphere. 🥐 Breakfast Buffet Is Worth Trying I would definitely recommend the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of food, making it easy to find something whether you prefer Chinese or Western-style breakfast. If breakfast is included with your stay, I would definitely take advantage of it. 🌳 Beautiful Surroundings for Walking Another highlight is the area around the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful paths and greenery, which makes it really enjoyable to go for a walk. It gives the hotel a peaceful and relaxing feeling, especially compared with staying in a busy city-center area. 🍽️ Restaurant Experience Needs Improvement Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel's restaurant was not nearly as good as our experience with the hotel and rooms. There were many empty tables, but the restaurant lights were not even fully turned on, which made the atmosphere feel strangely dark and unwelcoming. When we were seated, the table was still dirty and they only started cleaning it after we sat down. Another small but inconvenient detail was that we were given only one menu even though there were two of us. It would have been much more convenient to have two menus, especially when there were plenty of empty seats and tables available. ☕ Café: Very Disappointing Value The café was probably the biggest disappointment for us. An Americano costs around ¥38, which would be understandable if it were a larger or particularly special coffee, but the cup was extremely small. For ¥38, the portion felt far too small, and honestly, the price-to-value ratio was disappointing. This is definitely one area where I think the hotel could improve. ⭐ Overall Despite the issues with the restaurant and café, we still enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, the beds are great, many rooms have bathtubs, the breakfast buffet is worth trying, and the beautiful walking paths around the property are a big plus. I would happily recommend the hotel for the accommodation itself, especially if you value a comfortable room and a peaceful environment. I just hope the restaurant service, cleanliness, lighting, and café pricing can be improved because these details don't really match the otherwise nice experience of the hotel.

I've stayed at Ascott many times, and it's consistently excellent in all aspects. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the amenities like the fridge and washing machine are all fully equipped. The environment is also very quiet; you barely hear any noise. It's super convenient for dining and drinks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's also Xiao Taihou Park close by, and it's not far from the subway station – about a 10-minute scooter ride.

The room was bigger than I expected and clean. The only thing was that the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted individually, and it only had cold air given the current weather. We found it a bit too cold. We informed the front desk, and they responded quickly, offering a heater. Their service was excellent. However, food delivery services don't deliver to the room; takeaways are left in the lobby on the first floor, so you have to pick them up yourself. Overall, it's great value for money.
