YYoYo_jellyFacilities: The bathtub 🛁 was super comfortable for a soak, and the sunset 🌅 view of Universal Studios from the room was beautiful! The room was large and well-laid-out, with no strange smells in the bathroom. Waking up early, I could make a cup of coffee to shake off the morning grogginess. The smart light-up makeup mirror was great, and the hot water came on quickly. Cleanliness: Everything was very good. The cleaning staff even saw my note and specially delivered several more bottles of the body lotion, which I found very effective. Service: Staff downstairs thoughtfully opened car doors, and someone even pressed the elevator button for us. The front desk also helped upgrade our room type. The restaurant staff were quite enthusiastic, and there's a shuttle to Universal Studios at 8:50 AM, which is plenty of time to get there. Food: The tiramisu at the hotel's sunset restaurant was indeed delicious 😋, and the croissants from the bakery downstairs were perfectly flaky on the outside and chewy on the inside. However, I didn't realize the minibar would be chargeable. Also, the bath salts weren't refilled on the second day, and the turndown service was too basic. Considering I stayed during the off-peak season, the price was acceptable. Adding a bit more attention to detail in the service would make it even better.

Oo77oThis five-star hotel is absolutely superb, offering seven-star service. They called me before check-in to confirm my arrival time and ask about any room preferences. As soon as I arrived, they promptly arranged a room on my preferred floor and in my ideal location. They even provided a latex pillow for my neck issues. Since there were many people coming and going for a conference, they replenished our bottled water supply daily, allowing us to relax and enjoy tea and conversation. Housekeeping was also excellent; they only cleaned our room after we had left, ensuring they never disturbed our work or rest. Thank you!

YYongyuanzaijianfeidexiaochihuoTraveling to Beijing with my kids for a concert, after much deliberation, I still chose the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel I've always loved! Their consistently thoughtful service and excellent food proved my decision was spot on, haha~ The location of Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is unbeatable; it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with plenty of shopping malls and great dining options nearby. The large terrace on the 5th floor offers stunning views, and this time I even managed to capture the Forbidden City at sunset~ The semi-buffet breakfast with a la carte options is very convenient, and all the pastries are handmade daily, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed~ Many thanks to Rosie from Guest Relations, as well as Aimyon and Stena, who made my four-night stay truly delightful!

GGuest UserEven though it's a 4-star hotel, the overall service and amenities are on par with established 5-star properties. The room lighting is excellent, a huge improvement compared to many hotels that only offer ambient strip lighting. There's an airport shuttle every half hour, departing on time, and it only takes three minutes to reach the airport, which is incredibly convenient. The 58 RMB package offers great value for money.

PpstarThe location is unbeatable, it's the newest hotel of its caliber within the Third Ring Road, even though it's been open for 10 years, which explains its consistently firm pricing. The hard decor style clearly aimed for a W-like vibe within the InterContinental brand, but it didn't quite hit the mark. The pool changing room was the biggest letdown – a tiny space with no seating and a foul odor. I remember when it first opened, the pool even had an underwater pedal exerciser that was visible from outside; not sure why they removed it.

GGuest UserMy kids absolutely loved the room. I'm conflicted about the service score. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, easily a 5/5. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. However, I'm giving a 2-star rating because there's no dedicated drop-off/pick-up area at the entrance; you have to stop on the street. Also, it seems the hotel cuts costs by not having doormen. When I arrived, it was drizzling, and I had several suitcases and two kids. I had to drag everything into the lobby and then up to the room myself, with no help whatsoever. For a hotel costing over 2,000 RMB a night – I spent over 10,000 RMB – I didn't receive even the most basic service. Comparison truly highlights the shortcomings. The day before, after arriving in Beijing late at night, I decided to stay at the airport Hilton for one night, which cost just over 900 RMB. There was a free shuttle bus at the airport entrance, and the driver immediately got out to help load my luggage onto the bus. From the moment I got off the shuttle, there were staff greeting me and helping with my bags, escorting me into the lobby and offering all sorts of assistance, even delivering my luggage directly to the room.

RRudyMadrigalI’m truly grateful for this specific service apartment—it has been absolutely ideal for my stay in Beijing. It fits my needs perfectly, and I feel safe and at ease staying here. Due to my severe allergies, I could not stay in a standard hotel. Outside food holds too many hidden risks, filled with unknown plants and herbs that trigger my reactions. Cooking for myself is the only way I can stay healthy. I recently tried breakfast here and accidentally ate Chinese cured bacon, mistaking it for regular bacon. It was smoked with local vegetation I’m allergic to, which immediately caused an allergic response. This experience showed me how vital this service apartment truly is. Having a full kitchen lets me control every ingredient I eat. In an unfamiliar city where so many foods carry hidden allergens, this apartment gives me the safety and stability I desperately need.

KKaixinguofeimeiI booked this hotel for my Mexican clients who were traveling in China. They absolutely loved it and said it's a hotel they'd choose again if they came back to China. They specifically mentioned that the front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. They even said they'd be back!

AAnonymous UserOverall, I was satisfied. The breakfast was plentiful and the service was good. The room had good soundproofing, was clean and quiet, and the air conditioning worked well with fresh air. The hotel facilities are relatively new. The towels were a bit basic and didn't quite meet the standard of a five-star hotel. The front desk and luggage storage department were very conscientious and responsible, thumbs up! I was a bit confused because before booking, I saw pictures of the room with a small teahouse-like area with a separate long table, tea set, and chairs. However, when I checked in, I found that area was blocked off by a screen, which made the room feel particularly small, especially the family room. I wonder why? Also, the front desk charged a 1000 RMB deposit directly upon check-in, which made me feel a bit untrusted. Additionally, the sliding door for the bathtub and shower only covered half the area, which felt quite inconvenient in such a small room. I personally think the screen should have been used more appropriately.

GGuest UserThe staff service was quite good. The room window faced the new TV station directly. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old, and the air quality was a bit poor; we had to ask the cleaning staff to open the windows for ventilation every day. The pool environment was pretty good, and it wasn't crowded. The hairdryer at the pool was a Dyson, which was much better than the one in the room, which was really bad. The changing room at the pool was reasonably clean, and the shower area was quite spacious.
