Holiday Inn Hotels in Beijing

I've been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for almost 20 years now, due to visiting relatives. I've noticed over time that the light bulbs have gotten dimmer, and the water pressure has also significantly decreased (I'm not sure if this is due to aging pipes or if the hotel is trying to save energy by reducing water flow). The hairdryer is excellent, mainly because it comes with a diffuser, which is very convenient and a feature I rarely find in other hotels. The air conditioning, however, isn't very effective; even after two repairs, the issue wasn't fully resolved. The wall outlets are poorly designed and hidden, making them quite inconvenient to use. Given that it's a hotel that's over 20 years old, despite the various hardware issues, the service is still commendable – they are always responsive and available when needed. The duty manager also followed through on their promise from my last stay, and I hope they continue to improve in the future.

I happened to be staying at this hotel for my birthday, and before check-in, the staff specifically called to ask about my preferences. They even thoughtfully decorated the room and prepared a beautiful birthday cake. When I checked in, the front desk warmly wished me a happy birthday, and this unexpected surprise was incredibly heartwarming. The room was clean, and the service was meticulous and attentive. My stay was absolutely perfect, and I highly recommend it! 👍🏻 I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

I have to give Beijing Lido Park Plaza Hotel full marks! A special thank you to Alisa Wang, the duty manager, and her team for their extremely professional handling of the invoicing process. I had some omissions in my information, but she patiently reviewed and explained each item, clearly and efficiently outlining the process. Her approach was thorough, meticulous, and consistently warm and appropriate throughout. For business travelers, smooth and hassle-free invoice processing is key, and Alisa's reliable and responsible service was incredibly reassuring. The hotel's overall environment is comfortable, and the service is warm and inviting. I will definitely prioritize staying here again for future business trips!

The hotel boasts a modern, minimalist design that feels both cozy and luxurious. 👍 Stepping into the room felt just like coming home, so relaxing and comfortable. ❤️ The bedding 🛏️ was soft and plush, and my child, tired from playing, fell asleep peacefully in no time. 😴 The bathroom was immaculately clean with a wet/dry separation, and the smart mirror even had a built-in light. Toiletries were comprehensive, and they thoughtfully provided kids' slippers and toothbrushes – every detail was well-considered. 👍 The self-service breakfast offered a super rich selection, and the food was delicious. Both adults and children could find something they loved! 👍 There's even an astronomical telescope on the 16th floor. You can enjoy the views during the day and stargaze at night – an absolutely fantastic experience! 👍 My child also got their own special kids' room key card, and they were so excited to swipe it themselves to enter the room. Plus, there's a robot delivery service, which was both novel and fun! 👍 The gym and laundry room are well-equipped, making it very convenient for travelers. Upon check-out, we even received a cute pony 🐎 plush toy, which my child adored all the way home! ❤️

The hotel is nice, the staff is very helpful, but their English isn't very good. They do have a translator, so it wasn't a problem. The room was quite spacious. The downside is that we needed the hotel for a transfer, for one night, and it's not located very close to the airport; the shuttle runs until 10 PM. Even when we requested it, the hotel couldn't accommodate us at a later time. We even sent our request to the department via Trip, WeChat, and email. We only received a response by email... but in the morning, our transfer to the airport was right on time, for which we are very grateful! We were pleased with the delicious breakfast. Overall, everything was fine, but these nuances need to be taken into account.

During the May Day holiday, the hotel lobby was bustling with guests, yet the front desk staff managed everything smoothly and efficiently. They greeted guests politely, always with a smile, showing a high level of professionalism that was truly impressive. What was even more exceptional was that despite the busy period, the duty manager, Darren Zhang, contacted us through the front desk to ask about our check-in preferences and room requirements. This made us very happy, and we will definitely choose Beijing Park Plaza Hotel again next time we visit Beijing!

Aside from the slightly dated room decor, everything else was perfect. The carpet was spotless, and the room had absolutely no strange odors, unlike the damp smell you sometimes find in other hotels. It was incredibly comfortable. The mattress and pillows were fantastic, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was also excellent; definitely get the breakfast. I forgot to take pictures.

I promised the front desk staff a good review, so here it is. The hotel is indeed very close to Xingguang 5 Hall, just a one-minute walk away. My good review is genuinely all thanks to Zeng Shunxi; his performance made me overlook a lot of shortcomings. I arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, and the front desk told me there were no rooms available. I told them I needed a room to rest as Beijing was really hot. They then arranged a standard room for me to settle into temporarily, and later moved me to a king-size bed room. I forgot my phone charger and called the front desk to borrow one, but they said they didn't have any, so I quickly ordered a charging cable via delivery. Later, when I was getting ready for bed, I found out the hotel didn't even provide toothbrushes, which they said was for environmental reasons – I understand. I won't go into the other minor hiccups, communication was a bit difficult at times, but thankfully everything got sorted out.

The hotel is very large. There are sightseeing bicycles at the entrance of the hotel lobby that can be used to tour the park, but a deposit is required. The deposit is refunded promptly after use. The hotel staff Colin Wang is very considerate and the service is very good. It was a very satisfying stay.
