Overall, my experience was pretty mediocre. First, on the day we checked in, one of the two elevators was broken, and we waited about 15 minutes for the other one to arrive before finally giving up and climbing four flights of stairs to our room. Second, when we showered, water flowed out of the bathroom and into the main room. Third, the hotel didn't provide waterproof slippers for showering. Fourth, we stayed in a duplex room with upper and lower levels. Even with the air conditioning set to 16°C and running all day, the upstairs remained very hot, while the downstairs was perfectly comfortable. We had originally booked for two nights but extended for an additional night because our child fell ill. The price for the extra night was over 70 RMB more than what we paid for our original online booking, which also left a bad taste in my mouth. However, the one truly heartwarming moment came from the cleaning lady. She was incredibly kind and, perhaps noticing my child was sick with a fever and I was having a tough time, she brought me a few extra bottles of water. That small gesture really touched me and made me feel a bit of warmth during our trip from Shenzhen to Beijing, so a big thank you to her! Of course, there were some positives, like the water pressure in the shower being excellent!

Strangers cannot enter freely, making it particularly safe for solo occupants. The concierge service is incredibly attentive, with quick response times. If you have any issues, you can always reach out to the staff, who will patiently resolve them. Daily cleaning is also hotel-standard, with public areas and room corners meticulously cleaned. 💰 Excellent Value for Money, Flexible Lease Terms Without Pressure Compared to hotels in the same area, Chengjia Apartments are much more affordable. There are also exclusive discounts for long-term stays, making it more hassle-free than renting and more cost-effective than a hotel. Lease terms are very flexible, supporting short-term, monthly, and long-term rentals, so you're not tied down by a long-term contract. It's suitable for various needs like business trips, temporary transitions, or long-term living. Public areas also include a gym, drying room, and parcel lockers, all free to use, which directly boosts your quality of life.

The service was warm and attentive, the room was clean and tidy with complete facilities, and the location was convenient. The breakfast was rich and delicious. It was a very pleasant stay, and the front desk's luggage storage was very convenient. I'll definitely come again!

This is the third hotel of our tour in China. Unfortunately, the location of the hotel is in a very bad place. We walked nearly one kilometre of the road on both sides to find a grocery shop or shop to eat on our first day. There were none except only one restaurant near the shop. The ground floor or the hotel is a complete mess and poor cleanliness. A lot of delivery drivers and rubbish collectors are at the ground level. It was very hard to breathe inside the hotel reception lounge due to people smoking. The reception staff didn't speak English but we could communicate via the translation app. Again this hotel is also apparently in an apartment complex. A lot of delivery drivers rushing to different levels using the lift to deliver food. You feel cigarette smoke is everywhere inside the building. The room we booked was generally okay. However, the people in the adjoining rooms make a loud noise even in the late night. The bathroom water drain was very slow. This place could be much better if they control the smoking and if there are other facilities (shops, etc) nearby. I may not select this hotel again if I come to Beijing.

The location is super convenient, making it easy to go shopping or catch a taxi. The environment is clean and refreshing. The overall hygiene of the room is good, and the bedding is soft with no strange odors. I especially want to praise the amenities! The gym is available anytime for workouts, and the laundry room is great because you don't need to bring your own detergent – very thoughtful. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The facilities are well-maintained and look new. I highly recommend it, even for a long-term stay, it wouldn't feel inconvenient at all.

Hotel was clean, front desk staff was pleasant and polite. The laundry room was clean and had everything needed to wash/dry clothes and even an option to ask staff to help you take out the clothes from the machine once it’s done. The location is ideal for those who might need to catch a train or want easy access to the metro station. However, for me, I found that other than for that specific reason, the location wasn’t the best - it’s somewhat surrounded by construction so it can get a bit dusty (which is not ideal if you have allergies) and also a bit noisy. I booked a room with a tub but it seemed like the tub hadn’t been scrubbed in a while - I had to do that myself and order a tub plastic cover on ******* before having a bath.

I was transferred from another hotel, and I'm really satisfied. It was a perfect check-in experience from the start. The concierge proactively helped with luggage, and the room was fully equipped with toiletries. The breakfast, a mix of Western and Chinese, was fresh and plentiful. The gym and leisure areas were well-appointed, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. It felt like a refined and immersive vacation experience, definitely my top choice.

The Mercure Beijing South Station is in an excellent location, very close to the subway, making it super convenient for catching high-speed trains. The French-style decor is new and clean, the rooms have separate wet and dry areas, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are welcoming and helpful, and they also have a laundry room and a gym. It's my top choice.

Sadly my Room smelled Like smoke and the bed sheets aswell. There is no Soap or Shampoo! But the Service and the Front Deal where super nice ! It’s also really close to Beijingnan Station. But if you prefer a not smelly shower than this place is not for you! For one night it was ok.

I didn't realize I booked a windowless room when I made the reservation. The front desk lady upgraded me for free to a better room type. The room was clean and comfortable, which was great. The only thing is there were no toiletries or shower amenities, just a bar of soap in the whole bathroom, haha! Good thing I brought my own! (The Wi-Fi wasn't very strong though.)
