Beijing Shunyi District Hotels

A heartwarming stay with incredible attention to detail, making for an absolutely fantastic experience! First and foremost, I must commend their airport transfer service. Before my trip, I communicated my itinerary with the staff, and their responses were incredibly prompt, leaving me with absolutely nothing to worry about. Upon landing, I called the hotel, and the driver immediately came to pick us up; we didn't have to wait long. Seeing us with our luggage, he proactively offered to help. The entire service was both thoughtful and professional. Arriving in an unfamiliar city, we were immediately touched by their attentiveness. What truly surprised us were the thoughtful details after we checked in. Returning to the hotel after an evening out, we discovered complimentary late-night snacks thoughtfully prepared in the corridor. Porridge, noodles, rice vermicelli, and wontons were all available, piping hot and in perfect portions for a light snack. It was incredibly thoughtful for those returning late; a bowl of hot porridge instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The biggest surprise, however, was being able to see adorable alpacas right at the hotel! During the day, I took my child to interact with them. The alpacas were incredibly gentle and friendly, and my child was ecstatic the entire time. The staff even patiently explained how to interact with the alpacas in a friendly manner. This unique and delightful touch truly elevated our stay. From check-in to check-out, the hotel's thoughtfulness was evident in every single detail. I couldn't find a single flaw, from the hardware facilities to the service details. I will absolutely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the city!

On a layover in Beijing, I chose Cordis Donghai as usual – and this time, it was even more exceptional! Before checking in, I contacted the hotel and mentioned to the front desk that I'd appreciate a late checkout to get some rest. Jessie was incredibly accommodating; she assured me she'd make a note. Upon my arrival, Jessie had already prepared a suite for me and extended my checkout time to 2 PM. She understood that, being tired from my layover, I needed that extra time to rest comfortably. This whole request was handled so smoothly and warmly – I didn't even have to follow up, she simply remembered my needs. I'm already a returning guest, but after experiencing such attentive service from Jessie, there's no doubt I'll be choosing Cordis Donghai again for my next layover!

The room isn't overly large. Upon entering, the washbasin is on the right, with a separated toilet and shower to the left. The toilet is partially electric, with manual flushing. They thoughtfully provided disinfectant alcohol with instructions, which was a great touch. I chose this hotel to catch an early morning flight. Planes are clearly visible passing by quite frequently, almost directly overhead. However, closing the windows significantly reduces the noise, so if you're not overly sensitive, it shouldn't disturb your sleep. In the evening, they offer two types of congee and some small side dishes, which is a good option if you've missed dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, but it's just average. The young staff at the front desk are enthusiastic and polite. The airport shuttle departs hourly on the hour, and if there are many passengers, the hotel can arrange additional vehicles.

The hotel is ok, the room is large and the bed is comfortable; I wasn't impressed with breakfast and overall service in the room (they didn't clean the cup I used, they didn't replace the complimentary mini-bar things; service at the concierge was efficient and smooth but not terribly nice. The shuttle to the airport in the morning was good and punctual. Overall OK hotel, but I can't say it was great.

It's been ages since I last stayed at a Ramada! I had an early morning flight this time, and conveniently, there's a Ramada right by Capital Airport. It's only 15 minutes from Terminal 3 and offers a complimentary shuttle service, so I didn't hesitate to book it. On check-in day, Alice Fan at the front desk was incredibly helpful! She upgraded my room to a much larger one and even gave me a high-floor room as I'd requested – truly excellent! Right opposite the hotel, there's a plaza with plenty of food options. I even took a ride-hailing car to the city center for Peking duck, and it only cost me around 49-55 RMB. Be warned though, central Beijing traffic is insane! I once spent 10 minutes at a single red light, and that wasn't even rush hour. All in all, my experience at Ramada was fantastic!

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. Although we were traveling with kids and couldn't get a king-sized bed, the bedding was extremely comfortable. We were able to push the beds together, so we didn't have to worry about the children rolling off. The evening porridge service was excellent; it perfectly solved our baby's hunger before bedtime – they gobbled down two bowls! The TV supported screen mirroring, the internet connection was stable, and having a washing machine and dryer available meant we could wash all our holiday clothes, saving us a lot of hassle once we got home. The front desk offered an airport drop-off service, and it only took 15 minutes to reach the airport, which meant we didn't have to wake up extra early to catch our flight. This made it perfect for families traveling with young children.

I had business in Shunyi the following day and chose the Crowne Plaza. This location seems to primarily cater to airline crews or business travelers in the area. As soon as I entered the room, I was hit by a strange odor. After a quick check, I discovered the sheets and duvet smelled quite musty. I'm not sure if it was damp linen storage or something else. The showerhead was faulty – I couldn't even get water to flow properly – and the drain was completely blocked. It was incredibly frustrating and a clear sign of poor maintenance. Overall, the room's facilities felt very dated. Breakfast was pretty standard; while there was a decent variety, nothing was particularly impressive. By around 8:30 AM, they had already stopped replenishing dishes, and even by 9 AM, I didn't see any of the remaining food items in the buffet area being replaced. The pool and gym are located on the third floor of Building 2. It wasn't crowded, and the water quality was acceptable, though a bit chilly. I'd definitely recommend bringing your own towel, as the ones provided weren't great.

Stayed at the Hilton near Beijing Capital Airport and it was an excellent choice for convenience and comfort. The location is perfect for an overnight stay or an early flight, with quick shuttle access to the terminals. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you’d expect from Hilton. The staff were professional and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh options, and the dining facilities were top-notch. It’s quiet despite being so close to the airport, making it easy to rest. Highly recommended for travelers looking for quality and efficiency before or after a flight.

We had a good stay here. The room was nice and big and the breakfast was pretty good too. The staff working when we were there didn’t speak much English, but they were very patient and we used translator apps without any issue. Finally, it was close to the subway station, but kind of far from everything else. Still a good deal though!

We booked a business room with two queen beds our room was spacious we were greeted by friendly staff and Andrew one of the managers in the lobby on checking in. We were tired from flights and checking in was smooth. We had a personalized hand written note waiting for us if we needed any further assistance and on checking out we had Lucky waiting for us she even joined us for the trip to the airport. The stay included vouchers for our kids to the Young Bar swimming pool and the kids play area as well which was brilliant. We had breakfast included in our booking and that was also very nice buffet. Very much recommended this beautiful hotel and grateful to the staff for such a wonderful experience.
