Hotels in Dongcheng District, Beijing

I chose this hotel for my trip to Beijing, and its location is definitely the biggest highlight. It's incredibly convenient for getting to all the attractions, which is a huge plus when traveling with elderly family members. The hotel's environment and hygiene were well-maintained; the room was clean and dry, and the bed was soft, leading to an excellent night's sleep. The staff provided thoughtful service, and check-in was quick. They were patient and helpful when I asked for directions or had questions about getting around. The infrastructure is well-maintained, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. It's truly ideal for a trip to Beijing, and overall, I'm extremely satisfied. I'd highly recommend it to friends visiting the city.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Temple of Heaven East subway exit, making it very convenient to get anywhere. Although the room is small, the overall value for money is good. There's also a laundry room, which is very practical. Highly recommended!

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly satisfying stay! Our recent stay at this hotel in Beijing was excellent overall, leaving us with a warm and lasting impression. First and foremost, I'd like to commend the hotel's service. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel very comfortable and truly at home. The hotel's location is also incredibly convenient, right behind Beijing Railway Station, making transportation exceptionally easy. This was a huge relief for us as tourists visiting Beijing. Furthermore, the thoughtful services provided by the hotel pleasantly surprised us. We stayed for four consecutive nights, and the hotel offered a complimentary bag of laundry service and even a complimentary half roasted duck, which was a very generous gesture. The hotel's dining prices were also very reasonable, with the breakfast buffet at just 38 yuan per person, and in-house guests receiving a 30% discount on regular meals. I particularly loved the small courtyard in the center of the hotel. It offered a relaxed and comfortable environment. After a busy day, sitting in the courtyard to eat and relax felt incredibly pleasant. Of course, I have two small suggestions for the hotel to consider: The carpet in the hotel corridors appears a bit old. If possible, I suggest replacing or renovating it in due course, which I believe would make the overall environment even more comfortable. Additionally, during our stay, the toilet flush in the bathroom seemed a bit sluggish. I hope the hotel can check and improve this. Overall, this is a hotel with warm service, a convenient location, great value for money, and a very human touch. Thanks to the dedicated service of the hotel staff, our trip to Beijing was made even more memorable. If we visit Beijing again, we will definitely choose this hotel and recommend it to our friends! 💕

Bed was large and room was clean and spacious. Really appreciated the daily bottled water and snacks refill as well as the provided slippers for both the room and washroom. Elevator wasn't working but staff was helpful and offered to help us bring our luggage up to the second floor which also had a water dispenser for both hot and cold water. Location is a bit of a walk to the nearest subway but was still pretty central to the main attractions. Overall had a great stay!

Perfect 5 stars hotel, breakfast is good. Service is phenomenal. There is a nice swimming pool as well. Middle of Beijing, close to the Forbidden City. Staff were accommodating. It is a busy city so it is nice to have a peace of mind.

We arrived on Saturday early am to Beijing and reached the hotel at 0700s. The receptionist saw that we were jet lag and offered breakfast for 4 of us! It was a pleasant surprise as we were quite hungry due to the overnight flight. The breakfast spread was good and the room was cleaned everyday. We ordered some taobao to be delivered to the hotel and the receptionist also kindly collected for us and signed off. I accidentally left my iPad at airport and one of the receptionist kindly help me to call lost and found. It was overall very pleasant stay! We stayed for 6days 5 night in this strategically located hotel. Always a fan of IHG hotel in China. Walking distance to TaiKu Li shopping area. The hotel has laundry and it was very helpful for our one week stay! Will come back to this hotel again if we ever visit Beijing!!!

The room was very clean, which I was happy with. The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. I'd definitely recommend it. The surrounding facilities are good and convenient. There's free coffee, snacks, and water in the lobby, which is a really nice touch!

The front desk staff were very warm and helpful, and housekeeping was attentive. The room had all the amenities you could need, the bathroom was quite spacious with a great shower, and there was even a projector on the wall for watching movies at night. Overall, it was a very cozy and welcoming experience.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel was spotless, and I loved that the disposable toothbrushes were already in the bathroom, no need to pick them up at the front desk. The room was spacious and well-designed. This is definitely my go-to hotel every time I visit Beijing! A special shout-out to the bathrobes and slippers – they were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was still mostly Western, and aside from the milk, everything was perfectly to my taste!
