"Since the long-time owners sold up in February 2024, this hotel has apparently been transformed into a French version of Fawlty Towers - but without the entertainment value of Basil and Manuel. Seems to operate with a maximum of 2 staff. I would not recommend it."

"Alright. But it is indicated: a view of the sea which we did not have, A breakfast for 9 euros, but in the end it's 11€. The arrival price was set at 4..€ but 2€ more in the end. We are not asking for it to be free but at least honest with the prices. So also I don't understand, a hotel and a place where we are going on vacation, but we are still asked to do the complete cleaning before leaving. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired but I have seen much worse. In the meantime, the spa and hammam are great and so is the calm. But have a good stay in part."

Bath and shower great with good water pressure! Parking free and easy either in front or in dedicated car park. La croisette restaurant over the road warm and accommodating. Fine fish. Excellent hotel breakfast. Thoroughly recommended."

"A lovely boutique hotel in Bénodet close to the port and beaches. There is a 5 minute ferry over to St Marine which is also lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - we enjoyed our stay very much. The place has a feel of home about it rather than a hotel - lovely decor. Highly recommend"

"I am very disappointed but just for the restaurant and the restaurant staff, this famous little intern who does not offer us any drinks or bread and rushes us the fish soup while we were still at the aperitif, so cold soup. so already having dinner at the entrance for 10 minutes no drinks offered or bread so I tell my husband it's pitiful and at the end of the meal the manager of the room takes his defense and catches me at the exit to tell me that the little one was upset and that he had left her behind to protect her and me very surprised and in tears because my husband came just 3 minutes before but did not say anything to him it's really the world upside down at 1800 euros per week it's disgusting and the manager of the room very unfriendly stressful, and that we ask him for rust for the fish soup while the little intern does not know what she knows and the manager of the room shouts loudly in front of everyone YOU ARE NOT IN THE SOUTH HERE WHAT ARROGANCE !!!! It's a shame because all the rest of the week we have lunch and dinner in another hotel. I feel sorry for this little one in high season especially since we didn't say anything to her. Fortunately, all the hostesses and the reception manager were extremely kind. And took the time to listen to us. Thank you again to all of you for your kindness. And regarding this room manager, I think that if it had been a customer at 5000 euros per week, I think he would not have accosted his wife. And this intern before leaving the hotel who runs like a three-year-old child towards the reception to find out what we had said, this behavior is really disappointing and unprofessional. Other people were there and stunned."

"Arrived to no reception picked up letter and went to room to find roof window left open in storm and bed soaked. No one there so had to sleep on sofa in damp sheets. Next day asked for refund and told pierre do not refund and its tough. How can a company treat customers so badly? On to of the wet bed the room and corridors smell of stale dish the room is 20 yrs past needing a refurb. Worst place I gave stayed in with worst company go at your own risk"
