"The night I stayed before going to Maratu was spent in a very new facility with a decent restaurant. There were convenience stores just a short walk away. Belau is small, so taxis don't take you far from anywhere. I highly recommend trying the KFC; it's much better than in China, a must-eat before arriving on the island!"

"We stayed 6 nights in this magnificent resort on our trip to Indonesian Borneo. The location is a corner of paradise, the structure is truly beautiful, but it could become beautiful with a few more precautions. The restaurant overlooks the coral reef, where you can snorkel to admire many varieties of fish and coral. The sea is clear, truly beautiful, the same cannot be said of the beach, perhaps the sore point, which should be looked after a little more, for example by replacing the rusty wooden sunbeds and removing the plastic on the seashore. We stayed in the Saroja Suite, a truly impeccable room, clean and spacious. The restaurant is good, both breakfast and lunch/dinner, but the service could be improved a little, for example it would be good to have the dishes arrive all together and put some more cutlery. The possibility of going on excursions to the nearby islands is very nice, no more than 50 minutes by boat from the resort. Communication with the staff is a little difficult, as only a few people speak English. In short, certainly one of the best places to spend unforgettable days, with a structure that could become perfect with a few small adjustments."

"We just had the pleasure of staying at Arasatu for one week. From the moment we were welcomed off the boat, we've received the most excellent service from the friendly and attentive staff. My 7 year old son asked me if this is what being a VIP is like. It is! Some of our local trips from Arasatu have included releasing baby turtles, seeing a turtle lay eggs, swimming with 3 incredible whale sharks, several turtles, many dolphins, a huge variety of fish. The diving instructor Firadaus is a lovely guy and it was great to have his knowledge and company on many of our trips along with Herdy and Rian. We also traveled to the lake and went swimming with stingless jellyfish. The food has all been delicious!! Thanks to Mr Agus, Yola and all the staff for your kindness and for attending to our every need. You have all gone above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time.
