"The house itself isn't small, but the bedroom is tiny, and the bed is very narrow with a particularly thin mattress—surprisingly basic. You need to bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and towels, or rent them from the hotel for 119 Danish kroner per set. You'll have to put them on yourself and remove them upon check-out—basically, they treat guests like hotel cleaners. You must bring your own toilet paper and detergent after using the washing machine. Before leaving, you must wash all your dishes and dispose of all your trash. You'll also have to pay for the water and electricity you used after checking out. In short, don't think of this as a hotel; think of it as renting a furnished apartment in Europe (but paying hotel prices), and you'll understand. During peak season, your room might be located quite far from the water park. You can walk (it could be 10, 15, or 20 minutes) or take the park's shuttle bus, which runs every half hour. So, don't forget anything before you leave; a round trip can take at least half an hour or even an hour. There's not much to suit Chinese tastes in Billund, so leave your Chinese stomach at home before you come. Definitely avoid the peak season in July and August. The water park, Legoland, and Lego families will be packed. Some say everywhere is crowded during the summer peak season, but Billund offers very limited tourist value while diminishing the overall experience—it's really not worth it!"

"The hotel's log cabins are comfortable. If visiting in summer, it is recommended to take adequate mosquito repellent measures. The public bathrooms have plenty of hot water in the showers, but the log cabins are rather cramped. LEGOLAND is within walking distance."
