"Nothing seemed to be working, not the saunas, not the restaurant, and the lady at reception was not necessarily best suited for the service industry guest interaction. First we asked about food….she said there is none. No explanation about the restaurants being closed or that, as we later discovered that we can at least order a cake and fruit to our room. We ended up having to eat over priced fries and bad pizza for dinner down at the lake, tired after out drive and no attempt by the hotel to ease us into our stay. No recommendations and even when we asked it felt like we had to fish for answers or like our questions were stupid _ asking where we could eat and about kayaking on the lake. She looked at my dog and then looked at me like I was a naughty schoolchild “you did not say there would be a dog. You know there is a dog fee.”  I knew that but the way she said it was just worth an eye roll. Potential but for us somewhat of a lame experienc. I hated that we were not told there would be no restaurant on the day we booked. Neither sauna it turns out….neither….."

"A nice, alpine-style hotel a few kilometers from Bled. Excellent if you like biking and sports. Great to get away from the huge crowds in town. Rooms were pleasant and clean and breakfast very good. The only thing we would have wished for was a place to go for a swim - the pool is only for the glampers. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay."

"Situated in a breathtakingly gorgeous location just 5 minutes drive from Bled, this Hotel Garni exceeds all expectations!! It is family-run, affordable, clean, nicely maintained with air conditioned and spacious rooms, and has a beautiful exterior. It is in a safe, quiet, pastoral village with views of the mountains and hillside from the balcony and breakfast area. The items on offer at breakfast are rich, fresh and plentiful, with some hot crepes and eggs cooked to order. All of the staff at the hotel are kind and professional, and our family has had great experiences here on two different weekend leisure trips to Bled this year. I whole-heartedly recommend Penzion Lukanc if you are planning a trip to this area!!"

"The outside environment of this apartment is very, very good, and the inside is very clean. But there is one thing to note, the hotel plus the underground, a total of five or six floors, but there is no elevator. Our room was semi-underground this time, so there were not many steps to go down. If the room is arranged in a room on the second floor or higher, climbing the stairs with luggage will be a more difficult thing. There is no breakfast, but this problem can be solved completely. Lake Brad has a website that specializes in breakfast. Every day from 8 o'clock, breakfast can be delivered to the place of accommodation. There is a website, but it must be 24 hours in advance. We stayed in the room and found out that the local breakfast reservation on Lake Brad was written on the table of the room and found that there was this choice, but we did not book 24 hours in advance. A little regrettable. Next time you can manage the landlord directly to the website and book in advance. The room is very good, two rooms and one living room, two queen rooms. This is a bit different from the description. The description is that there is a big bed room, a twin room, and actually two queen rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good."

"It's a bit far to walk if you take the bus. The restaurant is good. The room is dusty, but this is the case in hotels like this in Europe. Remember to bring slippers. The waiter is very nice and there are limited budget options!"

"We stayed here for 3 nights with our daughter in a family room. We absolutely loved it. The accomodation itself is immaculate and very well furnished. The owner was delightful and helpful about the local area. Breakfast was very good. We hired bikes from the hotel and found we were in an ideal location to explore the local area and the lake. There are two routes into the lake that each take you to opposite ends of it. It is also located close to the free shuttle to go to the Vantgar Gorge. Would recommend and would stay again if we go back to Bled."

"My experience at this hotel was consistently let down by one waitress in the restaurant. When I politely asked whether a seat was taken, her response made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Every hotel operates differently, and I believe a staff member's role is to guide guests with patience rather than assume that the hotel's specific procedures are obvious to everyone. Throughout my stay, whenever she served me, she did so with a clear lack of enthusiasm and a poor attitude. I mentioned this to the reception team, who shared they were already aware of concerns about her service. Unfortunately, I was unable to get her name, but she is a thin, middle-aged woman with bluish/grayish eyes and graying hair. This feedback is directed only at this one individual and is not meant to reflect poorly on the rest of the staff. This is such a nice hotel, and it deserves a well-trained team. I hope management can provide her with additional training to help her meet the standards that the property deserves. On the positive side, the hotel is really pretty and unique, with a great location and a varied, generous breakfast. I checked in on August 8th and arrived around 11 am; I was very grateful that my room was already ready — a truly kind gesture."

"This was the best value for money hotel on our trip to the greater Balkans. The location is excellent, you can take photos of Blair Castle under the sunset. The balcony can also be used to dry clothes. The room space is listed online as 18 square meters, but the actual utilization rate is very high and it doesn't feel small. The bedding and bath towels are all new. The room also seems to be newly renovated. The breakfast is also quite rich, no worse than a five-star hotel. The hotel is very grand, and there is a fruit plate in the lobby for guests to take. The video was taken from the room looking out at Bled Castle and Lake Bled."

"Beautiful hotel in a really lovely setting. Very possible to walk into Bled and the walk is all through farmland and lovely scenery. Loved Pogi & Urskas corner and all of the cycling memorabilia in the lobby. Staff friendly & helpful and multi-lingual. Breakfast is delicious with lots of options, though do take a note and have small trips and keep on going back otherwise you might end up with too much. Really comitted to the zero waste too which adds and doesn't detract from the experience. Rooms really lcean and comfy with good space."
