"The historical value of the place and the quality standards of hospitality are not on par. As a guest of the hotel I do not recommend it: dark and cold room, overlooking a courtyard at the back of a restaurant (unbearable fumes of fried food and sauce), upholstery in need of sanitization, no wardrobe, reception telephone, minibar, shelves in the bathroom, bed pillows in extreme conditions, musty smell, deodorants everywhere, dark frills and a receptacle for mites and dust, no air conditioning system, it was a challenge to take a shower in fact. No internal bar service, no porter for luggage and stairs, no service, apart from the cleanliness of the room which I also had something to complain about, in the structure, no hall, no bar, not even water in the room (very different from the photo) .... staff not very empathetic. And something obsolete: we paid for the stay at check in and not at check out: rather in bad taste I would say (chasing on the stairs to urge us to do it immediately and after having tried without notifying us to do it on the card number provided at the time of booking with payment at the facility..... unbelievable stuff)! I would not recommend it except as a museum to visit..... maybe ....!"

"It is a lovely and calm place with a good swimming pool. It has apartments so you can cook your own meals. They don't offer dinner, only breakfast. My recommendation is that they start offering dinner. They have a nice bar that is very close to the city of BOLSENA. All in all, it was worth the money we spent."

"An older hotel (a lakefront beach property) lacking many of the amenities required to provide 4-star service: no in-room water heater with tea and instant coffee, poor terrace cleaning (it wasn't even cleaned at check-in), small room on the beach, poor breakfast, both savory (industrial-quality cold cuts and cheeses, awful scrambled eggs, no bacon, poorly made cappuccino, etc.) and sweet (low-quality cakes and pastries); poor dinners (good products, but the chef needs a change). Beautiful location, shame."
