The room was super clean, staff very friendly, breakfast was solid, and they have board games to play if you’re traveling with a group. Highly recommend and will def stay here again next time we visit!"

The 1850 Hotel ★★
""Hotel" in the name as well as the website is a misnomer. It is "contactless"meaning no staffing at the hotel. The "staff" forgot to text my code to get in - this is more of an AirbnB vs. a "luxury boutique hotel." I was able to call and get a person but she texted the wrong code but finally got it right. The room is clean, construction is a bit quirky (shower door opens in and you have to crawl around it to get in the shower). At $527 a night with zero services, this is a poor price value in a small town. Also, the website says it has a "fully equipped fitness center" - this is not true. They had kettle weights, a couple of bikes, rowing machine? It would cost very little to minimally add a rack of free weights."
