"The service staff is what made this place special. They are always smiley, willing to help and make the resort very comfortable for guests. The food is impressive especially the breakfast, high tea and the Stupa restaurant. Food presentation is beautiful, speaks a lot about the culture behind this resort. Before I came to the resort, I was so worried about mosquitoes, I was pleasantly surprised that the resort controlled the mosquitoes well, it's important because it would mean whether the guests can enjoy being outdoors, since many facilities are open air."

"Great accommodation. The large garden is well maintained, the rooms are lodge-style, like a resort villa. The employees are also cheerful and cheerful and have a good impression. The Borobudur Temple is about 4 km away. As an inn in Borobudur, it is a conscientious price setting."

"Away from the hustle and bustle of yogya. Being in the city can be overwhelming, hence this location is just right, surrounded by nature - birds, clouds and an amazing view. The location is super interesting because the car has to go through so many winds through the village. If U take a morning jeep tour, the jeep will fetch U from the villa with the car top exposed and you can feel the wind in your hair, absorbing the peace from th village and fresh air. They also have a massage, quite expensive but worth it at 450,000 idr per hour. The geckos can be loud at night but that's nature. They have an amazing pool that oversees borobodur and Yogyakarta. The villa door has some ants but I think it's because of the wood? The junior room suite villa roof feels a bit hollow because we can hear the birds jumping and squawking on top of it in the early evening. Food is not fantastic, especially their breakfast. But since they locally produce long beans, try their long beans. It's crunchy and fresh. Their grilled ayam chicken rice is good too. Their sambal, however, is a must try. Fresh, spicy, tangy! At night, you can hear adzan, which is call for prayer, across the whole of Yogyakarta. An amazing and holy experience."

"The environment is very good in all aspects, but the equipment is not good. Only one person can take a shower in each room, otherwise the next person will get cold water, which is worrying"

"Very distinctive hotel, quiet service staff are very enthusiastic, the whole hotel is not easy to find in the mountains, but walking into the hotel feels like an outdoor Taoyuan. Because all the air in the tropics is humid and the hotel occupies a large area, some locations are not well maintained, but the overall feeling is good. The plateau is cold at night and does not require air conditioning, but the quilt is a bit damp. There is a small courtyard outside the room where you can sit down and drink and chat, but the door lock is broken because it is too late and there is no request to change the room. It was already 10 o'clock to the hotel and I went the wrong way. After check-in, I went to the restaurant for dinner. There are not many varieties and it tastes good. Breakfast is also very simple and has Southeast Asian characteristics. The taste is also good, I prefer the original ecological experience. Very satisfied will recommend friends to stay."

"Breakfast was delivered to the room, the service was really good. The scenery was also very good. I came here just to go to Borobudur Temple, which was very convenient as it only took 7 minutes to drive there!! I will consider staying here next time I pass by."

"My room washroom encounter the stinky smells on the 1st night, very unfortunate the phone inside the room also out of order too. I’ve to close the door properly before sleep yet still have unpleasant smells in the room. I’ve told the night shift front desk officer about it, however he seems don’t understood and didn’t get the issue settle. Hence, I’ve requested to upgrade on the next day to the day time front desk officer, Herman if the issue can’t be solved. However, it’s fully booked, so I felt upset and helpless. Therefore, I’ve stressed to him I’m unable to give good rating in this case and get him to my room and experience it. He immediately understood the issue and get someone to resolve the issue after I went out for early dinner. Afterwards the issue only comes back in a while and gone. Herman had got the cleaner take note of the issue too over the 6 days 5 nights stay. I would like to give the compliment to Herman for this case. Besides, though the breakfast served only simple food, however I think is good for nutrition and everything are fresh. Especially the juice and fruit sections."

"Lovely stay at Gade Village, the people's hospitality was off the charts, if I had time I would have stayed longer. They helped me a lot. The location is isolated enough to enjoy rural environment yet close enough to be at Borobudur's entrance in 5 minutes by motorbike. The amenities and cleanliness are just enough(I get allergic if something is not clean and I didn't get any problems there) but it's not for everyone's taste as it's in the nature, you have to love cute gecko. The breakfast and lunch was good."

"Very nice resort with nice staffs. Restaurant food was tasty. Room size very good & amenities. Over my expectations, so I would have stayed 2 nights instead so that we can try the massage. Not much TV channels unless Netflix but I did not try. Location has to have own transport as it is away from town. Hope to go again. Just be aware of possible mosquitoes."

"You can see the borobudur from the hotel. Outside the hotel is a cropland. There are no Chinese tourists. Foreigners seem to like this place, but it takes 40 minutes to walk to the scenic spots. It's a little far away and you have to take a taxi. Hotel dining prices are not cheap, especially beer. Listening to music from afar in the swimming pool at night, watching the starry sky is still very enjoyable."
