Derelict is probably the best way to describe it. So many things need attention. I do think it was clean but it in such disrepair it felt very grotty."

"This is a workers camp, not a motel. I stayed there for 4 nights. My room got serviced once in that 4 days. They made the bed but didn't do any cleaning. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 8pm. I went to have dinner one night at 7:20pm and was told that the kitchen had already closed. I had to travel all the way in to Bowen to get something to eat. I also had to leave my trip a day early due to flooding. I was told by the hotel manager when I had to leave a day early that I would get a refund. She asked for my account details, which I gave her at the time. On the day I would have checked out received a message through ******* saying I had to change my trip through them. I tried that but because the message came through after I would have checked out anyway I couldn't change my booking. That was in December 2024. I paid for my entire 5 day stay at the time I checked in. We are now half way through April 2025 and I'm still chasing them for a one night refund. Pathetic operations management. I have been told it is my fault and that they won't be responding to my emails anymore."
