Jiabang Rice Terraces are absolutely stunning! The guesthouse owners were incredibly welcoming; the owner even picked us up from the drop-off point and helped with our luggage! The food they cooked was delicious, especially the rice paddy fish—it was so fresh and tender! The room was very clean and tidy, and the view from the window was fantastic (the owner said you can see the sunrise in autumn, so I'll definitely go sometime then!). It was very quiet at night. This guesthouse is incredibly close to Viewpoint No. 6, just a short walk away. In the mornings, we'd go to Viewpoint No. 6 first thing, take some beautiful photos, and then go back to the hotel for breakfast—it was plentiful and delicious!

Thanks to the family who owns the hotel, we had a wonderful stay. The owner 胡姐 was very helpful amd responsive to guide us on public transport logistics. Our hotel room was immediately upgraded on arrival even without our request. There is a large restaurant within the hotel which is priced resonably. Apparently their restuarant is the biggest in this area. The hotel is directly right in front of viewing gallery platform number 3 and is great to see sunrise without travelling far to the other viewing galleries. Our stay has been made super memorable by the owner's sweet daughter who sells super yummy sausages. We look forward to stay at the hotel again for the autumn harvest.

The hotel has just opened, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The rooms are fully automated, and you can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – absolutely stunning! The room rate is reasonable, and breakfast is included. The local rice noodles for breakfast are incredibly delicious. There's also a convenient dining area on the first floor of the hotel in the evening. Their sweet rice wine, rice paddy fish, and fragrant pork are all particularly delicious and local specialties, especially their sour soup fish. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay; the owners were very welcoming, and I'll definitely come back next time.

The hotel is located between observation decks 5 and 6, making it very convenient for sightseeing. You can see the village and the terraced fields right from your window. The owner, the front desk guy, and all the staff were incredibly welcoming. We even got a free room upgrade! They thoughtfully told us about local attractions, the approximate sunrise time, and the shortest route to observation deck 6 for sunrise. All in all, we had a wonderful stay.

The service staff is warm and thoughtful, and they are well-informed about the surrounding attractions and cultural customs. The tourist information and suggestions they provide are very practical. Food is a highlight here. The inn offers authentic local specialties with fresh ingredients and authentic taste, especially the home-cooked dishes made with local agricultural products, which are healthy and delicious, providing sufficient energy for a day of exploration. Dongpeng Terrace View Inn is an ideal base from which to explore the area. Whether you are a vacationer seeking tranquility or a traveler who loves nature and photography, you will find a satisfying stay experience here.

The hotel is located on the No. 6 rice terrace. You can buy a ticket at the village entrance service center and take the shuttle bus. You can also drive in. If you drive, you need to make a reservation one day in advance and give your license plate to the hotel owner for registration. The drive from the service center to the hotel is about 20 minutes, so driving is recommended for convenience. The owner built and renovated the house himself. The room is spacious and clean. The room has natural light on both sides, and the view is very expansive. In October, the sun started to rise around 6:00 a.m. The hotel offers dining options. Dinner and lunch are served at the hotel, and the owner cooks his own meals. Recommended dishes include fish, chicken, and bacon, all local specialties. The rice wine is also very good.

Transportation: Very convenient. The guesthouse is located at a higher point, near the sixth viewing platform of the terraced fields scenic area, easily accessible by sightseeing bus. As it's the final stop on the uphill route, you can directly catch the downhill shuttle bus, avoiding the situation where the bus is full at previous stops. Environment: The guesthouse is bright, spacious, clean, and hygienic. The owners are very attentive, even providing disposable towels and toilet seats in the rooms for guests with higher hygiene standards. Service: The owners are very welcoming. There's a dining area on the first floor. You can order some home-style dishes, all very delicious. The chicken used for the chicken soup is freshly killed, taking a little longer but resulting in exceptionally fresh flavor. You can leave your luggage at the guesthouse while sightseeing during the day, and if you get tired after walking to other viewing platforms, you can contact the owners to have your luggage brought back. Food: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available. The owners cook their own food, with simple home-style seasonings, and the spiciness can be adjusted. The main appeal is the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken soup is a must-order; the cabbage is incredibly flavorful. The stir-fried beef with celery is a generous portion that will fill you up, and the celery is even tastier than the beef. Breakfast includes rice noodles, corn, and sweet potatoes. The prices are reasonable and fair; they don't overcharge just because it's in a tourist area. Other: The owners are a warm and welcoming family. You can even watch the young owner pet his tabby cat – a truly pleasant experience.

“I am disappointed with this stay. I booked two rooms for one night. We checked in close to midnight, and one of the rooms had a very strong cigarette smell. We were traveling with a sick child, and even after opening the window, the smell did not go away and it seriously affected our sleep. I called the front desk and asked for a room change, even willing to accept a smaller room, but was told there were no rooms available. Later I noticed that rooms still appeared to be available online, which was confusing. The bathroom shower ceiling was also damaged. The next morning, after I submitted feedback via the hotel’s QR code, the manager apologized in person and offered a small gift, which I appreciate. But I believe the more important thing is to provide a clean,smoke-free room when guests report a problem. Families with children, especially those sensitive to smoke, may want to double-check that a non-smoking room is assigned. 这次入住让我比较失望。我订了两个房间,只住一晚,接近凌晨才入住,其中一个房间烟味很重。我们同行还有一个生病的孩子,整个晚上烟味都没有散去,严重影响休息。我第一时间联系了前台,希望更换房间,哪怕小一点也行,但前台表示没有空房。后来发现网上仍显示有房,对此感到疑惑。另外,浴室淋浴区天花板还有破损。第二天我通过酒店投诉二维码反馈后,经理亲自来道歉并送了小礼物,我感谢他的态度,但我认为,更重要的是在问题出现时,及时为客人提供一个干净、无烟的房间。如果是带孩子入住,尤其对烟味敏感的家庭,建议提前确认是否安排无烟房。希望酒店能在这方面有所改进。

The room was on the third floor with a beautiful view. Sitting by the window drinking tea was very pleasant. The guesthouse is right by the main road, very close to Viewpoint No. 1, just a 3-minute walk, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the stairs are too narrow, making going up and down a bit inconvenient. However, there's a terrace downstairs where you can sit and watch the clouds rise and see the sunrise in the morning. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the squat toilet wasn't quite what I was used to!
