Perfect
HHuangjinbaozangI'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. Its location is fantastic, right west of this ovoo (monastery), and the roadside grass is like a straw mat. The yurt door opens directly onto the grassland, offering a wide view. Plus, the yurts are all made of wood, just like the ones we see on TV, unlike the other guesthouses I checked out before, which were all made of reinforced concrete 😂. Coming to the grasslands is all about experiencing a yurt; if it's still concrete, what's the difference between this and staying at home, haha? Finally, I must say, the singer here has excellent service 👌🏻 Thumbs up!
GGuest UserIt was my first time staying in a motorhome, and it was beyond my expectations. The Starry Sky Motorhome was very bright and spacious, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. We watched a yurt performance here, and the children rode a small train and played go-karts. The bonfire party was very exciting, and we all danced together. The next day, we also watched lambs in the pastoral area and drank Mongolian milk tea. I would like to mention that the housekeeper, Miss Li Jiamin, was very warm and considerate in her service, and the children liked her very much.
GGuest UserThe boss is very enthusiastic. Now the temperature difference in the grassland is very big. It is very cold at night. There are electric blankets in the yurt. The quilt is also very thick. It is better to have hot water to wash. It is convenient for the boss to pick it up. I will come to the grassland in the future. Come to this place, in short, the experience is great
GGzlaojinA typical Mongolian yurt with toilets, hot water, restrooms, showers, and TVs. It is large in scale, and has restaurants, bonfire parties, performances, and bars. It feels more convenient and friendly than the hotels in the town. The resort is right in the grassland, and you can see the grassland wherever you walk. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay here!! The yurt was spacious, the design was a bit old-fashioned and basic but everything was functional. The activities were explained together with their price. I just chose the dinner and it was great. Samples of traditional meals, dances and the unique throat singing, and one could even wear the traditional clothes. Very touristy but fun!The other resorts are quite nearby tho so it wasnt as deserted as I was expecting but still gives one an idea of the grassland atmosphere. The staff was amazing! They took extraordinary care of me. They picked me up on the bus stop even without me requesting it and the next day drove me to the nearest town when the roads got flooded and the buses wouldn't come. They did it for free and my entire stay were really friendly and trying to make me feel welcome 😊
GGuest UserAbsolutely amazing reviews, nothing to say. The hotel customer service, Mr. Li who picked us up, and the rest of the hotel staff were all super nice. The hotel has private bathrooms, which are clean and well-equipped. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, took us on tours, and gave us many discounts. We had a blast. We met lovely people on the Xilamuren Grassland. I'm so happy and will definitely come back! It's much more reliable to contact a hotel than a tour group! Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, and adorable lambs! Horseback riding and archery at the Aobao meeting were so much fun.
CCHENThe Xilamuren Grassland has entered the off-season during November, and there are very few tourists. It is a wrong choice to book a room in advance, because many people will come out to stop guests when they arrive in the town, and ask if you need to stay in a hotel. We booked room 236 online. , If you look for a room wherever you go that night, you will get a pack of 100. The gap is a bit big.
In addition, I suggest you go to town for dinner. It’s not that this restaurant is not delicious, but it’s really to shop around. We ordered a lamb chop, an egg and tomato soup, and the final checkout was 500, which was a bit too expensive.
KKhrystanne GeorgeThis is exactly what a Grassland stay should be, and more!
Our time at Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort will forever be etched in my heart. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us like family, going above and beyond to recommend attractions, arrange tickets, and even personally drive us to the sites. Where else do you find service like that—done with a constant smile and thoughtful touches like free bottled water to keep us refreshed?
Staying in a traditional yurt on the open grassland is an experience beyond words. There is something grounding, peaceful, and almost spiritual about waking up to endless green horizons instead of concrete grey, hearing the soft rustle of the prairie wind, and watching the morning light sweep across the landscape.
This isn’t just accommodation...it’s an authentic encounter with the beauty of Inner Mongolia. Anyone visiting the region simply must experience this once in a lifetime.
