The washing machine intelligently dispenses laundry detergent, unlike those self-service laundry rooms that always dirty the machine, countertops and floors. Also, the washing machine time and drying time of the dryer are reasonable10 -60 minutes can be set independently, three sets of washing and drying equipment are quickly turned around, and clothes baskets, bags, labels, pens and other related small items are all ready. There is a laundry station for hand washing, and the laundry detergent is also packaged in small bags, which is really considerate and thoughtful.

This self-driving trip was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in on the island. First of all, when we checked in, Ms. Lu at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Moreover, the electricity price was high, and the charges were high after the power outage. There were many instances of disconnection and reconnection throughout the night, and the charging process was also cumbersome. Electric vehicle owners should think twice before choosing this hotel. The breakfast was mediocre; by 8 am, the fried rice and noodles were basically cold and very hard. The hotel's soundproofing was average, typical of a budget city hotel.

I chose this City Comfort Inn in Dongfang city after arriving from the West Station roundabout tour. I'd stayed at this brand before and had a good impression. The hotel has been open for a while but is well-maintained. The room isn't huge but meets the facility and hygiene standards of a business hotel. The location is excellent; there's a public parking lot right in front, and if you turn right out of the hotel, you're on a food street with many restaurants serving 'Four Geng Roasted Pig'. It was a satisfactory stay overall. The only downside was on the second night when a few drunk guests were loudly shouting in an incomprehensible local dialect, waking us up from our sleep, and it took a long time to fall back asleep! This, however, is a guest issue and not related to the hotel itself. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I've included a few photos of the surrounding attractions instead.

The hotel is located right on the beachfront, less than 100 meters from the shore. The owner upgraded me to a suite with a sea view (15th floor) free of charge. This room had the best sea view I've ever stayed in (although I've stayed in sea view rooms with direct beach access, none were on this high floor, and the view wasn't as expansive. This one had floor-to-ceiling windows in both the balcony and bedroom that opened directly onto the balcony, allowing me to fall asleep with the windows open and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore). The room was renovated this year, so the facilities were very new, the amenities were complete, and it was very clean. Parking was convenient. It's about 5 kilometers by car from Yulinzhou, a landmark of Dongfang City (even closer as the crow flies; you can see the famous Yulinzhou Lighthouse from the balcony, as seen in the third photo of the distant hills), and only 6 or 7 kilometers from the city center (Dongfang City is quite small).

The hotel is clean, spacious, and bright, with convenient facilities. Located in the city center, it's right next to a large supermarket and a street full of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks, catering to daily shopping and dining needs. It's also very close to tourist attractions. The service is impeccable – enthusiastic, efficient, and responsive to every request. Most importantly, the room rate is affordable, the beds are comfortable, and I was very satisfied with my stay!
