Shilin Hotels with Breakfast

The rooms are clean and hygienic, the air-conditioning power is large and the heating is fast, the 24-hour hot water is great, the surrounding restaurants can meet the daily needs, and the small square often has ethnic literary activities that are very lively. The service is so bad👎🏻! I went to the hotel and paid an extra 1,100 yuan to upgrade the room type. I brought 6 children with me and asked if there was breakfast and what time it was! Just tell me 9:30! No indication of how far it is from the hotel! The next morning a group of people got up and walked over, but they didn't arrive even after walking for 10 minutes. When they arrived, it was past meal time and nothing was provided! I take my kids out with my friends every month! This is the first time I encountered a hotel with such poor service!

Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

I drove here from another place because it is close to the Stone Forest Scenic Area. The hotel is an independent garden with a very good environment and very convenient parking. The room is very large and there are several buildings. The breakfast is also very good with many varieties, especially the rice noodles are delicious.

The central location of the stone forest, surrounded by night markets, large supermarkets, parks, pedestrian streets. Food, entertainment, shopping are all complete, accommodation conditions are very convenient, underground parking is free, and you can walk.

If you want to stay here when traveling to Shilin, the hotel is in a very good location. It is only about a 5-minute walk to the ticket gate of the scenic area. The parking lot is large and free. But the sanitary conditions are not good. The quilt covers, pillowcases and bed sheets are all washed in a small washing machine on the second floor of the hotel and hung to dry in the hotel restaurant. The standard breakfast is 20 yuan, and there is only a bowl of noodles or a bowl of rice noodles, not even an egg! There is hot water at night, but cold water for washing your face in the morning. There is no socket where the kettle is placed, so the kettle is placed on the ground to boil water.

The room is clean and hygienic, The service is not bad, the price is not expensive, not far from the stone forest scenic spot, it takes ten minutes to walk. Convenient transportation, the bus station is at the entrance of the hotel.

A nice simple hotel for anyone who is looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay. The place is somewhat away from the main road and the nights are really quiet, you can even hear the crickets! The check-in was fast and smooth and the lady at the reception professional and very friendly. The breakfast costs 15¥ and you can eat as much as you want.
