"Hotel was very clean friendly staff went above and beyond location was quiet and unique, did you know they have palm trees in this prefecture? Yes they got palm trees. If you’re looking for a great place to stay away from the choas of Tokyo and cost effective then this place is it! When I do go back to Japan I will definitely be staying here as it was one of the best options I picked, oh and not to mention it’s close to the mitsui outlet mall which has great options to do any type of shopping! You won’t regret staying here and don’t read into the negative reviews because this place was very clean and up to par! 👏🏾"

Amazing
1171306****The room is small but has everything you need. Toiletries, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and various small packets of facial cleanser, makeup remover, skincare, and other small items, are available for free in the lobby. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, with a slight change daily. My first experience was very good. It's also super convenient for getting around, with Chiba Station being very close.
AAnonymous UserThe soundproofing in this hotel is a bit lacking, maybe because it's right next to a main road. Even though they moved me to a different room, I could still hear noise 🥲. Those who are light sleepers should be cautious. Other than that, it's quite convenient. The breakfast is Japanese-style, so if you don't like eating rice in the morning, be careful. There were some pastries, but they were all very sweet.
MMurahariConveniently located just 2 mins walk from Kaihimmakuhari Station with easy access to nearby AEON shopping malls and various food outlets. Also ideally within minutes walking distance from Makuhari Messe Convention and Exhibition halls, makes Shuranza a recommended choice. As a plus, the in-house onsen is a welcome respite after a long day roaming around convention venues. Will definetly return for future visits.
MM7403****Although the hotel isn't in the city center, there are direct shuttle buses from both Haneda and Narita airports. It's just across the road from Kaihin-Makuhari Station, and right next to Mitsui Outlet Park, with plenty of dining options nearby, making it very convenient.
The rooms have been newly renovated and are quite spacious, with separate bathtubs and showers. The twin beds, however, cannot be pushed together. Our room on the 4th floor overlooked a small chapel in the inner courtyard, offering a beautiful environment.
The executive lounge on the first floor serves breakfast, which, while not particularly lavish, is all delicious. After 9 PM, you need to check in at the main building. The airport shuttle also stops at the main building's entrance. You can ask the front desk to store your luggage in the main building, so you don't have to go back for it.
Overall, the Ctrip voucher for just over 600 was incredibly good value for money. If it's available again, I would definitely stay here next time!
HhappydragonDefinitely cant find another hotel that is less than sgd 100 and so conveniently located right next to station (linked). Spacious, comfy, clean and convenient. Enough said.
HHaoyundaixiThe hotel is conveniently located very close to the subway station, just about a 3-minute walk. On the way to the station, you'll find a 7-Eleven and several dining options, with a Jusco supermarket also nearby. This makes it incredibly convenient. There's also a direct airport shuttle bus available right at the hotel entrance. A one-way ticket to Haneda costs 1300 JPY, and to Narita is 1200 JPY. You just need to wait by the hotel entrance, and the bus is always punctual. My only minor complaint is that the room size felt quite small, which was a bit inconvenient. However, considering the price, staying at a hotel with these amenities is already excellent value. They even provide a microwave, ice machine, and laundry facilities.
AAnonymous UserThe main purpose of this trip is to go to Makuhari to see the exhibition. I chose to stay in Soga mainly because it is close to the seaside Makuhari Station. It is only a few stops away. It saves a lot of time compared to traveling back and forth from downtown Tokyo. The hotel is also easy to find. Soga Five minutes walk from the station.
The hotel room size is considered medium by Japanese standards. The hardware is clean, but it has a sense of age. Soga Station is a JR station. There are convenience stores and restaurants near the station. I don't think there is a big shopping mall. It is far inferior to Chiba Station. Far away, relatively deserted.
I booked breakfast for Yen 1,800. It was convenient and the food quality was OK.
WwtfisheryService from the staff was nice.. facilities was okay.. location was near the train station.. we didnt like the vibe of the area especially at night.. felt like the security in the area was very very poor. there are always a lot people camping around from the train station all the way to the hotel, trying to prey on people who are alone. they are always staring at me and my husband everytime we walk back from the train station. during our 1st night stay, my husband went down to the nearby combini alone and an obaasan kept following him asking if he wants massage service from hotel to combini and back to the hotel. then another night, we saw 1 girl got cornered by a group of guys while walking back to the hotel. she was obviously distressed but we are couldnt do anything since we are outnumbered. we didnt want to get into trouble so we can only walk away with guilt as fast as we could back to the hotel. drunk people everywhere. no police in sight during the few nights we were there as well. overall, definitely no issue with the hotel but we will not return to Chiba again.
RRyokoConvenient near the station. There are restaurants around and it is substantial. Arrived late at night, but it was smooth with automatic check-in. Breakfast is free and you wake up slowly in the morning and eat breakfast and leave. Because the breakfast venue is small, it is crowded because it was a holiday, so it is good that the hotel side devises so that the guests do not overlap too much.
