GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel is newly opened, so the facilities are very new. You can check in by yourself, but it would be better with guidance from the front desk staff. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: It's located at the North Exit of Hiroshima JR Station, a 5-minute walk after crossing the pedestrian bridge. There's a Lawson and 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is very convenient. Service: Classic Japanese service, very attentive, and they even helped me sign for a package, which was a huge help.

EEuonchThere was a crowd during check-in, but the hotel staff efficiently handed out queue numbers, allowing guests to wait comfortably on the sofas. The room I got was perfectly quiet, which was great! Since it's a business hotel with a high turnover, if you need to sleep in a bit later during the day, you can call the front desk beforehand to arrange a suitable room cleaning time. This way, you can get a better rest in the morning. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, but you can pay to extend it for ¥1,000 per hour. The hotel also has laundry machines and a public bath on the top floor, making it excellent value for money. The staff provided great service too. Highly recommended!

YYingtaoxiaowanziThe hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting me upon arrival and seeing me off at check-out. The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.

GGuest UserI visited for a baseball game. It was my first time in Hiroshima, so I chose this hotel based on its vibe. It's within walking distance of the restaurant district known as 'Ekimae West.' It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Mazda Stadium, but it's definitely within walking distance. I also walked to Nagarekawa (or Nagarekawa?), the downtown entertainment area. I think it's a perfect location for sightseeing, no matter where you're going. There seems to be a path connected to the underground passage, but I couldn't figure it out until the end. The staff were very polite and helpful with all my questions, which left a great impression. They even held my luggage after the baseball game, so it was a well-thought-out and convenient location. The room was, of course, clean. There was also a welcome coffee station, and the hotel itself was calm and not rushed. Including the cost-performance, I'd give it a 100/100. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

AAnonymous UserThe room was generally clean although there were a couple stains on the couch. The room was quiet which was a plus after a long day of sightseeing. We didn't use the onsen - but thought it was a good amenity to have on site. The room items (toiletries) were kept at the front desk, which helped limit the amount taken by certain guests overtaking products. We thought the location was decent, but still far from the station and the peace memorial park. We would stay here again as the value was decent for what we paid.

GGuest UserPros: 1. Excellent location. 2. Service was very good. 3. The hotel is quite new. 4. All basic facilities are well-equipped. 5. Breakfast was very rich and varied. 6. They were very accommodating to our two adults and two children. We booked the room for adults, and only had to pay a small difference and buy children's breakfast upon check-in, which was really great. Cons: 1. The hotel's parking lot is very small and often full. The other two parking lots are quite far, so we just found another parking spot nearby. 2. Dinner on December 30th (New Year's Eve price) for two adults and two children was 21,000 JPY, but the food was really mediocre. Compared to the excellent breakfast and lunch, it was a bit disappointing. Breakfast and lunch, however, were both very good and highly recommended. 3. I've stayed at three Hilton hotels in Japan (Tokyo Disney, Hiroshima, Nagasaki), and none of them have a consistent policy for children. It's always best to call or email ahead to confirm when staying with kids. However, this hotel's extra charge was minimal, which was very considerate.

AAnonymous UserGreat location, 5 mins walk (flat surface) from Hiroshima Station, convenient store exactly next to the hotel. Great service from front desk staffs, proactively assisting guests during check in. Self-service luggage storage available, just simply lock it with the IC card (Transportation card). However, it’s quite full during check out time, consider to use the paid lockers (¥500-1200) at Hiroshima Station if needed (next to the station taxi stand, <5 mins walk from the hotel) Spacious rooms, with individual air conditioning/ heater, and humidifier. The room is neat and clean, no weird smells, there’s a window as well. Amenities are provided, located next to the front desk. Overall great experience with Sotetsu Hotel, definitely worth the price.

DDr.p3pp3rThe location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus. The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room. The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability. Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable. Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson. Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

AAD3KHotel is very near the Peace Memorial Park and only steps away from Chuden-mae streetcar stop. It is also within walking distance of the highway bus station at Sogo department store. My room faces the streetcar stop and is just of perfect size to me. The bathroom is a tad small but hey, this is Japan after all where space is a premium. I didn’t add on breakfast. The hotel provides tea and coffee at the lobby (from 06:00 to midnight) and also offers complimentary nightwear and free rental of pillow. The furniture is a bit dated but still functional. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend especially to solo travellers. And the hotel personnel were so kind and helpful and helped guide me on the streetcars to take to Miyajima and they also sold me the day-ticket. I was able to leave my bags at the lobby before and after checking in and out respectively. To be honest, I’d prepared myself for the worst after reading some reviews but I had a great stay. No regrets!

LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi. The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores. The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience. The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
