Onomichi Hotels with Breakfast

Checking into the hotel was a breeze. The hotel is very comfortable and a 2 minute walk from Onimichi Station. The bathroom is slightly smaller than usual, but being a solo traveler it was fine for me. Small window allows for a view of water, and for fresh air instead of A/C air. Long sleep wear is provided as well.

The counter clerk speaks fluent English, the room is decorated in traditional Japanese style and the view is very beautiful. Although there is space for suitcases in the room, considering the distance up the mountain, it is recommended to lock the luggage at the JR station and carry a backpack up the mountain. On the downside, there are only two shared shower rooms, so you may need to wait in line, the quilts and mattresses are a little dusty, and the room has poor sound insulation, which are all problems of old Japanese-style buildings. But the price is very high for the scenery, it is worth experiencing for one night

The guesthouse is a traditional Japanese ryokan and perfectly situated for a stop while riding the Shimanami Kaido. We could overlook the bay from our window and enjoy the tranquil mood. The food was exceptional, we had some of the best food of our life! Everything was seasonal, fresh and well seasoned. Being able to eat in a yukata in a private dining room was an experience in itself! As for the communal bath: One of us does have tattoos and we asked whether or not we could use it. The owner allowed us to enter without covering our tattoos, as long as their not huge (full back / full sleeves etc).

When I entered the street, a garden with a wide 々 spread out more than I had imagined. I stayed in a rental room for a room, but the room and bathroom were large, clean and healed. I think that there is no TV in the room is also suitable for those who want to spend a relaxing time. The carefully prepared Japanese breakfast was also great. It is recommended for those who want to forget the hustle and bustle of the day 々 and relax.

I was excited to stay at Azumi Setoda, but it was the room of Yubne opposite. I made a reservation without meals, so I went shopping at a nearby convenience store, but the room has only the minimum items, probably because of the SDGs initiative. The room is very clean, but you can't see the outside view and there is no TV. However, you can prepare what you need if you ask the lobby. I couldn't calm down because the sound of jumping and jumping was heard probably because the child was staying upstairs in the middle of the night. It cost 16000 yen per person, but it was disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed – including a very comfortable bed and great blackout curtains, which made for an excellent night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the bathroom was modern with good water pressure and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was another highlight – a great selection of hot and cold options, with fresh fruit, pastries, and made-to-order coffee. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to public transport and several nice restaurants within walking distance. Overall, great value for money. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.

Limited budget option there. Would get better hotels elsewhere for the same price.
