Green Hill Hotel Onomichi ★★★
"This hotel is located right across from JR Onomichi Station, with the ferry terminal and the station square just outside its doors. It's incredibly convenient for both transportation and dining. The hotel itself is quite clean and tidy, making it a good option to consider for your trip to Onomichi."
Yubune ★★★
"It was a very nice inn. The Shiomachi shopping street is right in front of you, so it has a very nice atmosphere. You won't have any trouble finding breakfast or dinner."
Onomichi Kokusai Hotel ★★★
"Clear and there is a free parking but limited car lot"
STATION INN THE URASHIMA
"Capsule hotel in central Onomichi. Very new, clean, and spacious. Just above bike rental and next to train station. Capsules do not close, there is just a blind you pull down which means some light can get through. BUT the biggest problem we had was the complete lack of air conditioning in the pods, there is a fan button but it does nothing. By 2/3am it was so boiling hot I couldn’t sleep. For a brand new hotel I expect better!! Communication with main desk was sometimes difficult. Showers and toilets were nice at least. Free tea/ coffee. Also… tbankfully this didn’t affect us but if you have a multi- day booking you have to leave the pods/showes/ toilets from 10am-3pm every day!!"
Onomichi Royal Hotel ★★★
"Really clean friendly hotel , I had a great view over the sea to the island , it is about 15 minutes walk from the station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is not so big but it is comfortable with a nice bathroom and larger than average TV. And small but decent bathroom. In summary , very nice stay.."
Hotel Beacon Onomichi ★★★★
"The room is bigger than expected, the high roof is beautiful, the hotel design and color scheme is very good, it is the toilet sink and kitchen sink is the same, overlapping positions get not too good to use, dim lighting. Everything else was good, excellent location, right upstairs from JR and bus station, very convenient, staff were very helpful. However, sleep easy to wake up people do not book, JR walk through is going to be noisy ga!"
Hotel Cycle ★★
"The hotel is located near the Onomichi pier. The design is simple and stylish. The whole hotel is bicycle-themed. The toiletries are from the Japanese brand Osaji. The breakfast is a combination of buffet and ordering. The only complaint is that the room lighting is a bit dim, but the flaws outweigh the merits. In short, it is a very unique accommodation on the Seto Inland Sea."
Onomichi Daiichi Hotel ★★★
"Slightly old and small room"
Sakura Shimanami Hotel ★★★
"Good location next to the station."

Onomichi Mochilero - Hostel
"They are some spanish people still making the house. the house is NOT HOSTEL....it has more like an Air BnB with snobbish owners. While lost travellers were told to vacate common areas by 2200Hrs. Luggage is not being kept, unlike other hostels. After a long bike ride, they don't even care to give a place or washroom to change clothes. Very sad experience. categorise this as air bnn, because it fails all tests of a conventional hostel"
Onomichi Hansei
"The hotel is in the style of the new Japanese style Wabi-sabi. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The capsule coffee and tea are of good quality. The unpainted wooden bathtub is very convenient for soaking in the private bath in the room at any time. It is worth mentioning that the dinner is first-class and the breakfast is a bit simple in comparison."
Hotel Innoshima
"This hotel is a very old styled ryokan up on the mountains of innoshima, it feels very surreal to arrive at the location after driving up stretches of mountain paths."
Suminoe Ryokan
"It was a warm oasis after I was soaked by the rain while riding. It was an old building but very clean and well maintained. I walked through the beautiful courtyard to the public bathroom on the first floor (open at 4:30 pm and 6:30 am). Although it was small, it had surfing massage and was reserved so it was very refreshing. The dinner was unexpectedly delicious. Except for the 8-inch dish which was a bit ordinary, every dish after that tasted amazing. The female waiter was very beautiful and the cashier was very quick. I checked out quickly and caught the bus to Sunset Beach to borrow a bicycle for the next day."
Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-Tei
"The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, below Qianguang Temple. The view from the room is really beautiful and it is worth walking up! It is actually about 7 minutes away from the shopping street, but because it is uphill and downhill, it will be a little more tiring than a flat road. Be careful not to bring too much luggage. The coffee on the first floor of the hotel is delicious and the breakfast is delicious! The staff explained very clearly. I would like to come again next time."
Lemon Farm Glamping Shmanami
"The hotel boasts stunning views and incredibly spacious rooms, including a kitchen and dining area that seats eight, an open-plan living room, and a courtyard overlooking the ocean. Bedrooms can accommodate four to five people. The downsides are its hillside location, far from the surrounding community, and the lack of meals provided; guests need to bring their own groceries. The kitchen has a microwave and oven available for free use. The hotel provides coffee beans and pour-over equipment, making it a pleasant experience to grind your own beans and brew your own coffee. There's also a fireplace in the courtyard for evening campfires. Oh! It's a pet-friendly hotel! Cats and dogs are welcome. While stargazing in the courtyard at night, a kitten came over and even slept in my yard in the middle of the night!"
Sea Side Hostel Light House
"The service was good and the room was clean."

Ryokan Urashima
"It was attractive to put it in the hot spring. The room was clean and I was grateful that the water in the PET bottle was attached to the room."
Ryokan Onomichi Nishiyama
"Just off the main street, a surprisingly spacious garden unfolded before us. We stayed in a private villa, and both the room and bathroom were large, clean, and very relaxing. The lack of a TV in the room is also a plus for those who want to relax in peace. The carefully prepared Japanese breakfast was also wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind."
Azumi Setoda
"OK so I loved the little town of Setoda, in the middle of scores of islands and on a major bike path. 2 great runs in the morning and wonderful biking. We arrived later our first of 2 nights and ate at SOIL, just down the street and fun and casual. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the re-design of the old building was immaculate. I will say the room, while spacious and clean was perhaps not completely comfortable for a gaijin, the mattresses were separate and very low and the sitting spaces above the beds were on the floor with a recess for your feet, but all doable and yes I acknowledge my 67 year old preferences! Our second night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was one of our best meals in Japan, outstanding. Definitely recommend the Azumi Setoda for a few nights."
Mange Tak Resort Onomichi
"Since it's located in the Onomichi shopping district, rain wasn't a problem. The entrance was stylish and didn't look like a hotel. There's no elevator, so you have to go up the stairs, but it was convenient as I left my luggage there before checking in and went sightseeing. The room was stylish and had a projector, which was fun. My friend said it was "relaxing." I'm glad I made that choice. I was surprised that it included all-you-can-eat ice cream and souvenirs. I'd like to use it again next time."

Yourou Onsen Honkan
"For those who like the retro Showa era building, the ornaments and posters inside were filled with nostalgia. Some people took lots of photos. The hot spring was quite hot, so it was difficult to soak in it. I think it would be nice if the temperature could be lowered a little in the summer."
