Green Hill Hotel Onomichi
"The hotel is directly opposite the JR station, accessible via a pedestrian overpass. A ferry terminal is right downstairs. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it a very convenient location in town. The staff can communicate in English, and daily housekeeping is provided. They also deliver water, biscuits, and jelly every day. There's a free massage chair available on every floor's elevator lobby. Guests get a discount at the second-floor restaurant, which is quite a good deal. The cleanliness is generally acceptable, but some details are lacking, like a layer of dust on the humidifier."
Sakura Shimanami Hotel
"Very good experience about its services"
Onomichi Kokusai Hotel
"Nice hotel. Rooms and toilet are very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended. Free shuttle to JR station was helpful."
Onomichi Royal Hotel
"Hotel was extremely clean, staff were extremely friendly! Additional amenities were provided in the lobby which was great. Would recommend."
Onomichi Daiichi Hotel
"perfect location, compfy bed, quiet room"
Hotel Beacon Onomichi
"Highly reccomend;) Market nearby Nice curry place in 5min And metro station 1min away"
Onomichi Mochilero - Hostel
"El Mochilero is a five star hostel, it is clean, there is more than ample space in the rooms, each guest has access to her /his own locker with it's own key where you will find several towels folded in a the manner of five star hotels in a very cute basket, there are also earplugs in each basket. The room I was staying in had four beds and there are two other rooms on the second floor. Very clean bathrooms with a bathtub. But what sets El Mochilero apart from other hostels is that it is family owned by a warm, caring and hospitable family.I felt right at home with Senora Carolina, su mother and her brother Percy.I was hosted as a member of the family and this will stay with me. There is a hearty breakfast served in the morning with orange juice and coffee that will sustain you through the day. I cannot thank enough this family for the way I have been hosted. And I hope to see them again."
Natural Hot Spring Onomichi Minato Kan
"There was a sink in the room, but the toilet was shared. I wish they would let us know whether there was a toilet or not when we made the reservation."
STATION INN THE URASHIMA
"Hotel is very new. Amenities are great. Location is perfect. Very clean. Highly highly recommend"

Suminoe Ryokan
"The guesthouse is a traditional Japanese ryokan and perfectly situated for a stop while riding the Shimanami Kaido. We could overlook the bay from our window and enjoy the tranquil mood. The food was exceptional, we had some of the best food of our life! Everything was seasonal, fresh and well seasoned. Being able to eat in a yukata in a private dining room was an experience in itself! As for the communal bath: One of us does have tattoos and we asked whether or not we could use it. The owner allowed us to enter without covering our tattoos, as long as their not huge (full back / full sleeves etc)."
Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-Tei
"Pleasant outdoor scenery"
Hotel Innoshima
"We stayed here on the first day of the Shimanami Kaido tour. It is an old hotel on a hill, and the interior of the dining room in particular was very Showa-era and nostalgic. <Good points> - The view from the room was very good. - We had dinner and breakfast, and although it wasn't luxurious, it was delicious. <Disappointing points> - I took a bath before dinner, but it was cold and I couldn't take a bath. Thanks to a tour companion who complained, we were able to take a normal bath the next morning. The bath window is large and it is easy to see the view outside, but there are overgrown trees that get in the way. I suggest pruning these trees, as I think you can enjoy a wonderful view if they cut them down. - The facilities were very poor. - The internet was very slow."
Tsutsui
"I'm glad"
BONAPOOL
"The women-only dormitory room I stayed in was incredibly hot. 💦 So hot that it woke me up at night. I usually expect there to be few amenities, so it wasn't a problem, but I was really happy that they provided individual bath mats. It was very hygienic and nice, so next time I'd like to stay in a different room, like a private room."
Lemon Farm Glamping Shmanami
"Wonderful experience. Clean and helpful staff. Booked the jacuzzi and sauna room which is a great experience and great view. Bbq dinner was great. But careful not to take the corner Panama unit as it has partial sea view only."
Ryokan Onomichi Nishiyama
"When I entered the street, a garden with a wide 々 spread out more than I had imagined. I stayed in a rental room for a room, but the room and bathroom were large, clean and healed. I think that there is no TV in the room is also suitable for those who want to spend a relaxing time. The carefully prepared Japanese breakfast was also great. It is recommended for those who want to forget the hustle and bustle of the day 々 and relax."
Sea Side Hostel Light House
"The service was good and the room was clean."
Azumi Setoda
"My husband and i stayed at Azumi Setoda for one night as we came to the island to do some cycling. What a high end establishment, a jewel near the riverbank of this quiet village. The quality of the workmanship and material used to renovate this family mansion is outstanding. The attention to details is second to none. We were warmly welcomed and can only highly recommend this ryokan. We had diner at a nearby restaurant called Tan Tan as recommended by the lady on reception and had a very nice dinner. Breakfast Kaiseki style, simply wonderful."
Onomichi Villa Ayah
Urashima Inn - Gangi -
"The room is small, but the sea view is good. It is 6.7 minutes walk from Onomichi Station and the port."
Soil Setoda
"What a magical place - a hotel, a coffee shop, a restaurant, an onsen, all under one management, a beautiful comfortable room, excellent staff - they showed and explained everything, put wet clothes to wash and dry, helped with everything, there is parking for bicycles, but we parked them in the room"
Yubune
"It was a fantastic stay. The front desk staff was very welcoming, the hotel facilities were new, and you could even store your bicycle in the room. The hotel also had a hot spring bath and provided pajamas for free. Overall, I was very satisfied."
