Amazing
GGuest UserI had a wedding, so I caught it with a friend!
It was so good for two women to stay ㅠㅠ
I caught it in a twin room, but I won the retro game room.. ❤️
Even if the next day wasn't just a wedding, I think we both enjoyed it, but unfortunately we couldn't play the game!
The smell of the diffuser was so good, soundproofed and the best hostel.
It was a hotel, but it was a meaningful stay because it was fun to leave a room record and see it.
The front desk is so friendly and ...!
I really rest well!
GGarangpingcuoFinally, I came to the long-awaited holy land of Gwangju. The small town full of fireworks, the brightly lit pedestrian street, the wonderful music, the beautiful girls, and the city of heroes are integrated into one. Special thanks to Dubai Hotel, the location is very good, next to the pedestrian street center, and the 5.18 Memorial Park can be reached on foot. Due to special reasons, the original booking date could not be carried out. Although it was a non-refundable type, Ctrip changed the date after communication, which was very friendly.
Aanitatatatait’s a decent hotel based on the price i paid. the only thing i didn’t like was when i pointed out the bedding stains to the housekeeping staff they just told me “the bedding isn’t actually dirty. the washing machine just can’t get rid of these stains”. i was really surprised by this remark because i just needed them to change my bedding but they were putting up a fight. i don’t mind staying here again, but remember to check for stains if you care about those like me.
AAriellyI haven't slept so good in ages!
Ngl, otw to the building, we passed a couple hotel/motels and I got worried that maybe the pictures wouldn't match with current conditions. That heavens this wasn't the case! The property is set back a tiny but from the road it's on, allowing for parking right in the front.
The property is very clean, simple, and pretty. It's also very conveniently and directly across the street from a convenience store (a mere 30sec walk).
The gentleman who manned the front desk during my stay was sweet and diligent. Even though there wasn't really any view from my room's window, I did face the sunrise and got healing rays. The room layout is simple and spacious, easily fitting 1-2 people comfortably.
The bathroom, however, boy do I have a pickle with that. 1. Loved the toilet!! 2. The sink was also great. 3. But the shower. The shower was a battleground. The shower-head was too big for the holder that allows you to adjust the height and position of the shower-head. The fixed wall-mount for the shower-head sits up too high and the water sprays as if its attacking you. I spent the first 8 minutes just trying to defeat the water boss! To which I finally found a solution: take the shower-head and drape the cord behind the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner containers. Then rest the head behind the overhead shower-head's pole for support and direction the shower-head where you like. Goodness gracious it was a battle I did not expect.
Besides the shower battle, everything else was so great. I'd definitely stay at Summit again should I every travel the SW of S.Korea again.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed the breakfast very well.
besides, we appreciate self laundry.
However, the window is useless so that the room looks like too tight.
GGuest UserPros
Excellent Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the metro line, making it easy to access the airport and main train station.
Soundproofing: The soundproofing is impressive, allowing for a restful night’s sleep without disturbances from outside noise.
Great Dining Options: There are plenty of good food options nearby, adding to the overall experience.
Cons
Bright Control Panel Lights: The orange light from the temperature control panel is excessively bright at night. Additionally, the centralized light control panel emits a very bright blue light. Even after turning off the main lights, these panels create a glowing ambiance that can be quite annoying. In Japan, similar panels allow users to turn off the lights on the control itself, which would be an improvement here.
Conclusion
Overall, while the location, soundproofing, and dining options are excellent, the overly bright control panel lights detract from an otherwise enjoyable stay. I hope the management considers making adjustments to enhance guest comfort.
CC.BeniiIt's similar to the Garage Hotel in Taiwan. There are many places to go shopping nearby and the subway station is also very close, very convenient!
AAnonymous UserThe location is conveniently located in the heart of Chungjang-ro, close to the subway station.
It's clean and well-maintained.
The rooftop restaurant, Suksu, is also excellent.
They're offering a free house wine event, so it's worth taking advantage of it.
AAnonymous UserWe arrived and our reservation had not been registered, so our room was not ready. The lady who received us was very friendly, and suggested that we would go for dinner, while the room would be prepared, and so we did.
The room is quite small but nice, the shower was coming out of the sink?!? Not really practical/nice. For breakfast, you have to wash your own dishes, cups and cutlery at the end ;-)
GGuest UserThe room was clean and well-cleaned, and I had a good one-night stay^^
Breakfast was cheap but full, and I had a delicious meal with the kids.
There were many good restaurants nearby, and there was a mart right next door, so it was convenient to use.
