"My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Candleberry Inn, and it is truly an exceptional inn!! Charlene, Eric and the whole staff were so welcoming and made our visit absolutely wonderful. Even before we arrived, Charlene reached out to us to let us know that our room was ready early! The inn is a beautiful historical property (perfect for two people like us who love old houses and all of the charm that makes them special); and it's been lovingly maintained and modernized with numerous amenities. Our room, the Seacroft Suite on the second floor, was beautifully decorated, with a separate living/sitting room and king size 4-poster bed in the bedroom. The room was truly immaculate, with sooo soft linens, cozy robes, and a fireplace (we'll have to come back during cooler weather to take advantage of it). Breakfasts were amazing - two courses with different choices each day (the sausage, cheese and mushroom omelet was my favorite). My husband has some dietary restrictions, and it was never a problem. And the sweet treats that were waiting for us each afternoon spoiled us for sure. There is also an ice cream cooler on the patio with additional choices too - great to grab one on a warm day and enjoy it on the Adirondack chairs in the shade of the side yard! One detail that I really liked was the digital guide we received ahead of our visit - it had a wealth of information about the inn, the Brewster area itself, recommendations on restaurants in Brewster as well as other locations on the Cape (we tried several in Brewster and the food and service was wonderful), lists of things to do, etc. - it was a great tool to be able to read through prior to arriving at the inn - just one of the many special touches that contributed to such a special stay. "We had such a wonderful experience celebrating our ten year anniversary at the Brewdter Inn By The Sea!! Amy, the Innkeeper, is charming in every way. She gave us such a warm welcome and provided all of the information and resources we needed for our stay. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, with a fireplace, a refrigerator, a beverage station and a whirlpool tub. Every detail was carefully curated from the waffle linen towels, to the fresh lilacs and anniversary cake on the table. Breakfast was delicious! We had warm lemon bread with fresh berries, followed by avocado toast made with a multigrain bread and perfectly poached eggs topped with bacon confetti. The pool and grounds are peaceful and welcoming, with the most magnificent trees and Gardens. We would never stay anywhere else after our enchanting experience here. We are so grateful for Amy and The Brewster Inn By The Sea. Simply the best!"
