Comfort Inn Crystal Broken Hill
"This one was alright. The location was good, and there were many restaurants nearby. The hotel itself had a Chinese restaurant, which wasn't particularly delicious, but it was acceptable. Many restaurants closed after 5 pm, so we ate at this one. Overall, it was pretty good."
Desert Sand Motor Inn
Broken Hill Tourist Lodge
"Reception lady won't fix things if you ask. Send a text no reply. She is loud and very confrontational if you ask to get something fixed that isn't working. Poor form the bathrooms need renovating they are truly terrible very dated like 1970's but need fixing and a total renovation. Not worth the high rate other hotels have a similar price. Stayed before the electricity wasn't working now the A/C had mould and spores all over it very bad."
Broken Hill Tourist Park
"Stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, have stayed here before, the cabin is functional and comfortable enough. Park is central to Broken Hill on the Hwy with little hwy noise"
The Argent Motel
"The motel was centrally located in the main street. The facilities were clean and tidy. There was no under cover parking at each unit."
Broken Hill Outback Resort
"Great place just north of Broken Hill to have a drink and dinner. Has cabins and camping ground as well to stay. We popped in for a visit before heading to Astronomy but wished we planned better to stay out here as liked it so much. Had a few beers on the the porch watching the world go by. Super relaxing"
The Lodge Outback Motel
The Astra Hotel
"Astra – Broken Hill We stayed here for 3 nights in the Deluxe Suite. People have noted the car park here as being small and it is smaller than small. It fits 4 to 5 cars. However, I had no issue with parking in the street which at times I did during the day and after 5 pm it’s easy to park nearer the hotel. We were lucky though and managed to get a park in the actual car park every night later in the afternoon. It has to be considered this is an old property and it’s not like there is land to expand the car park. We also did not feel concerned about parking in the street. Always felt safe. There is secure access and the door always needs to be shut behind you. You do have to use stairs to get into the rooms, so it’s a consideration. The room was clean and refurbished some time ago, but it was perfect. The shower pressure etc is fantastic. There was tea, coffee, milk etc. The hair dryer was great. The pillows and mattress I could not fault. There was plenty of cupboard space, a couch, a desk and also a split system. The balcony is a large old pub balcony that once may have hosted many people but it’s a little rickety and dusty. We did see a tradie there so perhaps there will be a refurbishment in the future. There was outdoor furniture and a wonderful place for a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Plenty of power points. The Internet was okay and no signing in every time you came back to your room. You could even access it downstairs in the public areas and outside when having a drink. It was a quiet place. The location was fantastic and easy to walk everywhere. We did have dinner at Trinders. It looks extremely grand and once again excellent service. I had the best porterhouse and my husband had the gnocchi. Everything is pricey but that's the way it is everywhere. I had a salad at the adjacent café and it cost me a small fortune. It was tasty. I have to say the staff here are so worked off their feet, some of the bar staff are doing two shifts a day due to lack of staff. No fault of the hotel. I want to say to all the staff, you are amazing and thank you for your service."

"Hotel is comfortable, clean with lots of leisure rooms for groups to gather. Loved the charm of early Australia with modern convenience. Kitchen and fridge available for use was handy. Location was great for enjoying the town. Large rooms with everything you need"
Ibis Styles Broken Hill
"This hotel is in the centre of Broken Hill, on the main street and near the Visitor Information Centre. It feels like a motel, with exterior entry to the rooms and parking outside your door. The room itself was comfortable. There is a small swimming pool and a restaurant in the central courtyard."
Charles Rasp Motor Inn & Cottages
"The whole reception, ease of booking and the room were all exceptional. Bed super comfy and the shower facilities were amazing. I happen to have left a component of my cpap behind and house keeping noticed it passing it on to management and contacting us. It was an important part abd they were so good to post it up to us. Actions above and beyond. Thank you for doing that for us. Cheers Daz"
Broken Hill Outback View Holiday Park
"Hot showers with great pressure. Beautiful location. Some areas under renovations but not noisy at all. Staff friendly"
