"Hotel Post was simply a gem of a place, central, well appointed and sleek. The Cosmo restaurant and the spa were real game changers: well priced and nicely laid out, never too busy. The rooms were nice, the cleanliness outstanding but the best feature was the superb service. From the kind receptionists booking us restaurants, to the chambermaids leaving everything sparkling and best of all, the transfers to the slopes with Agim. He was always kind and flexible, accomodating our needs and making sure we can focus on skiing. All in all, a great place to stay and enjoy everything Brunico has to offer."

"Everything is wonderful. The hotel is next to the ski lift. The rooms are small but cozy. The spa area has a children's and an adults' area. Everything is new and modern, very similar in style to the best Austrian hotels. The food is excellent, especially the dinners. The only downside is that if you want to get to the city center, you'll either need a taxi or a car. There's no shuttle."

"We booked as part of a package with Sunweb, so quite a lengthy and expensive transfer from Innsbruck (yes in Austria, but closer to Kronplatz than Italian airports). What is normally a 90 minute transfer, was exacerbated by the weekend traffic and the lane restrictions on the Brenner Pass. But we really wanted to try skiing at Kronplatz, and we're so glad we chose this hotel for our base. Blitzberg shows modestly as a 3 star rating. But rooms, facilities, decor and food were as good as any 4 star we've stayed at in Austria. The Baumgartner family run a very efficient operation. The waitresses were really hard working and always friendly. The steak tartare, prepared at the table, seemed to be the locals' favourite. Quite a range of nationalities at the hotel. South Tyrol has two competing languages, 65% speak German, the rest mainly Italian. So you'd never know which language to select. The varied skiing at Kronplatz was fabulous. Lovely long easy blues at the top, efficient and modern lifts, and contrastingly, long and testing reds and blacks right down to the bottom. Good snow making and north facing slopes meant good conditions. But despite making a 1,000m descent from top to bottom without stopping, I had nothing on Herr Baumgartner himself. Whilst not a renowned skier, he operates the shuttle minibus to and from the slopes for his guests. I reckon that had he not gone into the hotel trade, he could have made a great racing driver! Lively apres ski scene at the base of the Reitschach gondolas. Good value mountain restaurants. The Kron self service has portion sizes that you'd tend to see on 'Man v Food'. Bruneck a lovely town. Will definitely come again."

"It is second time we've been here and we are highly satisfied. The Hotel is very nice, modern rooms, clean, warm, excellent breakfast and very kind stuff. The sauna and spa zone clean quiet and comfortable. There was also outside warm jacuzzi and cold pool. We hope to come back again"

"We visited this favorite hotel of ours again, which is our second home in the mountains during our vacation.from the first entrance and a pleasant welcome at the reception, through the great wellness and probably the most amazing point after a whole day of skiing is an absolutely breathtaking dinner. "The hotel is truly wonderful, the setting is beautiful. The highlights for our family (13 & 15 year old kids), was the hiking, biking, top quality food and drinks, unbelievable pool and spa facilities. We hired E-bikes from the Hotel great day out. Everything is on your doorstep. Spa facilities are great, lots of treatment options and interesting classes that I hadn’t tried before. The food is incredible and we eat out a lot! Loved it, we hope to return soon."
