Il Verreno
"The room was very classic, and the staff were extremely friendly."
Borgo Iesolana
"Borgo Iesolana is located atop a hill, offering a truly enchanting and tranquil setting. The ancient farmhouse is incredibly charming, and the apartment we stayed in was beautiful—large enough for a couple (three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms), comfortable, and clean. The spectacular view and the outdoor space we had for ourselves made our stay even more enjoyable. The large beds and firm mattresses, just the way we like them, ensured a wonderful night's sleep. The two bathrooms are a significant plus for the comfort of our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, oven, dishwasher, and microwave, although we personally have never cooked at home. We thoroughly enjoyed both dinner at the Borgo's restaurant, with special mention for the chef who cooked a perfect Florentine steak, and the magnificent cakes for breakfast. The only downside for us, as we have a grown-up daughter and are looking for quiet, relaxing places, was the overcrowding of children. Unfortunately, many of them were poorly supervised or not accompanied by their families, turning a morning by the pool, with a magnificent view of the Tuscan hills, into an unpleasant experience. It was to no avail to ask the staff for intervention, who could have solved the problem by designating one of the two nearly identical pools for families with children and the other for adults only. The staff was very kind and professional, but lacked the touch of personality and warmth we've often encountered at other similar facilities in the area. For these reasons, we're not inclined to return. Next time, we'll look for a place that doesn't allow children. I'm sorry, but where the politeness and common sense of families are lacking, the management should consider the well-being of all guests."
Palazzo Tiglio - A Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"In every conceivable way Palazzi Tiglio lives up to its billing as a small luxury hotel. We enjoyed our stay immensely. A fantastic welcome, a knockout room (room 1 - though I’m sure the others will also be beautiful), comfortable bed, beautiful linen and furnishings everywhere, a complimentary drink before a sensational dinner and an amazing wine list. Waking up to a quick swim and fabulous breakfast before driving off into the Tuscan sunshine. If you are in the area and can get a room I would totally recommend that you do. Thank you to the whole team for a memorable stay."
Poggio Cennina Resort & I Borghi Della Selvaccia
"We stayed there for a few days in a self catered Villa while attending a nearby wedding. Beware that the accommodation is quite difficult to find - it took us several attempts! The villa was clean, spacious and comfortable, although the furnishings were a bit outdated. The bed and bedding was quite poor quality and the lighting was bad throughout the accommodation. The grounds have much to offer though, with nice seating areas, a large pool and sport equipment available. Reception staff was helpful - they don’t have bar staff on shift, but were happy to make us coffee or sell drinks when requested. It would have been nice to have a few more basic things at the villa (e.g. washing up liquid), given it was self catered. "
Lunaria
"Super beautiful view, the renters are very friendly and welcome. Recovery from daily stress is secure."

Borgo Nuovo San Martino
"If you book a double or twin room, believe me when i say that you DO NOT get a refrigerator, Tea&Coffee facilities or a washing machine. These are all part of an apartment. The man pulls out the language card and pretends to have only a few marbles rolling about up top. We got an apartment on the last night as a “gift” even though he said we got what we booked. The first 2 nights, we got a double bed wedged into a smelly/ dirty room with no hot water for showers. Nowhere to keep our cold food and nowhere to make tea or coffee. From now on, when we come back, we will be booking for & paying for 5 star. Run away from rustic."
Agriturismo Il Sole Verde
"2 stars place is displayed as 4-5 Star place, not to tap into the fall. Appeal goes out by lawyer!"
Borgo Rapale
"The Best possible place to get rest. Also bonus thing - Tomaso , the men who took us to Siena for Palio and guide us with plenty of interesting information about race and all around stuff - awesome Man with great knowledge (many thanks for that ) ."
Lucia
"Host friendly accommodation like described kitchen equipment a little spartanish"
Cedri Alti
"The 4 apartments are located outside the Ambra site on a hill very idyllic and quiet. Very well maintained garden and pool. Our apartment was spacious, clean and well furnished. All best."
