Greenfield Hotel Golf & Spa Superior
"Hotel General: The hotel lacks clearly defined, comfortable, and atmospheric areas. The bar area, in particular, is uninviting in design. The direct passage from reception to the restaurant runs right between the bar counter and the seating areas, making it difficult to create a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Furthermore, the lighting is far too bright overall, destroying the cozy atmosphere. Warmer, dimmed lighting and clearer spatial separation of the areas could significantly contribute to the feel-good atmosphere. Dining: The bright lighting and closely spaced tables make the restaurant feel rather uncomfortable. More atmospheric lighting and a more spacious table layout would contribute to the atmosphere and the guests' well-being. The buffet is not visually appealing, and the food unfortunately falls short of expectations in terms of taste. A more attractive arrangement of the dishes and more attention to detail would make a big difference here. Furthermore, the placement of certain dishes seems illogical – for example, liver paste is placed right next to yogurt and cereal at breakfast. A clearer and more sensible arrangement would be desirable. The selection of main courses is also not always harmonious. Typical side dishes that one would expect to accompany certain dishes – such as red cabbage and dumplings with duck legs – are missing, which detracts from the culinary experience. Better coordination of the dishes could significantly enhance the offerings. SPA area: The entire spa area lacks pleasant views. The sauna windows are covered in film, obscuring any view of the outdoors. Even from the outdoor pool, there is hardly any appealing view. A few strategically placed trees and shrubs could greatly contribute to the atmosphere and create a more pleasant ambiance. Furthermore, the bar in the wellness area feels rather functional, reminiscent of a cafeteria rather than a place of relaxation. A cozier design and a more atmospheric layout could significantly enhance the feeling of well-being. Overall, there is a lack of an inviting atmosphere, which is essential for true wellness. Service: The service in the hotel generally serves its purpose, but seems more functional than warm. The employees are not unfriendly, but there is a noticeable lack of a guest-oriented and approachable attitude. A warm greeting, a smile, or a small gesture can go a long way toward making guests feel welcome and appreciated. Unfortunately, the current impression is that service is limited to the essentials, without any particular commitment or interest in the guests. This lacks the feeling of being truly perceived as a guest, which makes the stay less pleasant. All in all,"

"Guests are generally classified as fraudsters. After asking for the room number at the dining room entrance, the drinks cellar asks for a room number card for the first time in 6 days!! We don't get any drinks. After immediately complaining to reception, nothing happens. After dinner, we asked again at reception and the dining room manager came over. There was no common language and of course no understanding. Then the head of the hotel was asked: the hotel has problems with guests who give incorrect room numbers!! Therefore, guests should be able to show their room card. We found out about this after 6 days! Great, different procedures and the guests find out nothing. I have never experienced anything like this in over 40 years of traveling. Rooms are only cleaned superficially, glasses are not replaced. Bathrobes have holes in them and are outdated. This was our first and last stay in this hotel chain."
Park Hotel
"I arrived with my two children and the reception and the atmosphere left a super impression first. Lunch with the huge burgers and the Greek salad was really good, and we are looking forward to dinner. The room was large and offered everything you need, but in our case it was a little dark. Unfortunately, the dinner buffet was a little bit lean for us, but for the children there was slice, pommes and night table, which was perfectly suited. The walls of the room are quite thin so you often think someone could come to the door right away. The TV was nice, but only Hungarian language was not ideal for the children at the TV, even though the existing Netflix apps were there Breakfast was not according to our taste, but it is of course subjective. By our early departure, I spoke to the server because the receptionist was ill. I didn't want a ticket for the two nights not consumed with half-pension. The servant thought that was not a problem, and I should write my IBAN and BIC to him. At the key return, the receptionist was suddenly back there, but did not seek a conversation with me. The server pointed out that the drinks of the evening were not paid yet, but the receptionist only said he cancelled them. Since January 12, I have now waited for the guaranteed refund. I try to call forgetting, landing only at the occupational leadership, and emails are not answered, whether in German or in Hungarian. I feel completely ignored. In principle, I can recommend the hotel, you need to search for the parking space but there are also enough parking places in front of the door. For families I would rather not recommend it. Lunch can be very good and also cheap there in any case. Ambient is really invited. For the therme BÜK a cat jump and for the price really OK."

"We have never had such a negative experience with a hotel before. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving just 24 hours after checking in. A significant part of the garden was closed off due to construction work, which was a major letdown for us and especially for our children. The “dragon disco” – a favorite activity for them – wasn’t held in the park as advertised, but instead in the lobby, and only for a very short time. It felt like 1/10 of what was promised. In the evening, a sewage pipe burst in the basement near the playroom. It took an hour and a half before we were able to return to the ground floor without wading through water. To make matters worse, there was a very strong and unpleasant odor in the hallway in front of our room on the 4th floor. One positive: the bed was extremely comfortable (10/10). Overall, though, the conditions were not what we expected, and we could not stay longer."
