"It's an aparthotel; I booked a studio apartment. It's fairly clean, though I don't understand why the bed is a fold-out sofa bed. Regardless, it's more than adequate for one night. We parked on the street right on the corner of the hotel. The location is convenient, a 15-minute walk to the city center. I don't know about the service, because we didn't speak to reception again after checking in. There was no one there when we checked out; in fact, they told us to leave our keys in the designated space."

Don't be put off by the eccentric exterior, because once inside you're greeted by friendly front office staff and in no time are in your well-appointed moderately-sized room. Plenty of off-street parking as well. The hotel has a well-stocked bar at reasonable prices and an excellent restaurant serving some of the best pizzas and hamburgers in Normandy. "Hotel is not bad, French chain, quasi three stars, room is small, breakfast is ok. About 10 minutes from Kaoang Railway Station, we walk about 40 minutes. Because the city does not seem to be big, so walk to the World War II Memorial for about 40 minutes, when the city should be built in the subway, it looks a bit messy. There is a Chinese restaurant selling beef noodles nearby, which is quite authentic and the price is great."
