"Pros: The room was very spacious; the wet and dry areas of the bathroom, as well as the toilet, were separate; complimentary welcome drinks were provided; the staff who greeted us and helped with luggage were very enthusiastic. Areas for improvement: The soundproofing was not good – I could hear cars outside the window and conversations in the hallway. If you're sensitive to noise, you'll need earplugs to sleep. The water pressure was low, which made it hard to wash away the day's fatigue. Shockingly, the bedding had a permanent, unremovable smell of sweat. The ladies at the front desk were very cold; they ignored me even when I said good morning."

"I booked the hostel not realising that hostels in Lima are for something else. The area is a bit dodgy, when people found out I was staying in Callao they couldn’t believe it cause it isn’t safe to walk around unless you just get an uber straight to the place. It was really loud, the walls are paper thin and the windows don’t seal properly so can hear everything. I had to switch hostels and they didn’t refund me. They were still nice and I could check in earlier than I’m most hotels but if you want to rest please be careful as it’s extremely loud every hour."
