"We had such a great stay at the Hotel Kasano in Calvi. Check in was so easy and they have a garage under the hotel. We had a lovely junior suite with a sea view balcony. Relaxing on the balcony overlooking the water, citadel and pool. We did enjoy spending time in the pool and perhaps spent more time in our room because it was so comfortable. The hotel is easy walking distance to the old town and so many fine restaurants. I highly recommend this as the place to stay in Calvi."

"The room is right but if you don't take the option view sea, avoid the one-stop view (view on wall!). The staff were welcome, breakfast buffet with very good charcuterie."

"We stayed for 2 nights as part of a Corsica Adventures tour. Having read the reviews, we did not have great expectations of the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. Room 301 had on of the best views we have had! The room was clean, modern, standard size, simply but adequately fitted out, with a comfortable enough bed. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was fairly ordinary but adequate. Location is ideal. The downside is that the area is very noisy and the rooms are not double glazed so sleep quality was impacted"

"Pool access varies depending on location; it's not always easy. The elevator needs servicing! Private parking spaces are available, but you have to request them! The room was very nice, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The welcome was perfect; I highly recommend it!"

Campo di Fiori, Maisons de Charme ★★★★

"A beautiful, quiet residence, conveniently located near the beach and the town center. We had the pleasure of staying at Colomba for a week. The grounds are very green and well-maintained, with a BBQ area including an outdoor kitchen/bar for all guests to use. There's also an enclosure with tortoises, which is great for observing. The air temperatures were already autumnal, and although the sea was a very pleasant water temperature (around 22 degrees Celsius), we really appreciated the heated pool area (around 29 degrees Celsius) after our time at the beach. The hosts were very kind, warm, and attentive!"

Hôtel Sole Mare ★★

"The hotel is very well located, offering peace and quiet in a cul-de-sac! And yet, it's just steps from the citadel, the port, the pedestrianized town center, and all the restaurants! We had a lovely view of the citadel from our room on the second floor (note: no elevator). The room was spacious with a loggia, and the air conditioning was a real plus during the heatwave. The shower room was functional (but the ventilation was either nonexistent or broken), and there was no clothesline (a shame for a seaside resort). For a two-star hotel, there was a swimming pool – not very large, but it was a welcome addition, especially after a long day of sightseeing or hiking. It was very pleasant! A real bonus. Another very pleasant surprise was the breakfast! For €10: pastries and bread delivered fresh every morning, delicious sheep's milk yogurt, compotes, three types of jam, honey, and clementine juice (a Corsican specialty) – we really enjoyed it by the pool! Just remember to reserve it the day before by 6 pm. Towels changed daily and a courtesy tray (kettle, teas, infusions, freeze-dried coffee, cream). In conclusion, a very pleasant surprise for a two-star hotel where we spent a week after a very strenuous GR20 hike. I highly recommend it and would be happy to return."

"The welcome was perfect, ALL the staff were attentive and the manager Marie-Pierre was adorable, she notably upgraded us free of charge. The hotel is very well located, very clean, quiet, the swimming pool is pleasant, the breakfast very good. Really, there's nothing to complain about, it's perfect! Thank you again for everything and see you next year I hope!"

Résidence les Castors ★★

"Very well located and a great hostess! The studio was satisfactory. However, there were four garden chairs in the small studio, which took up a large portion of the space, requiring the bed to be lowered. Access to the terrace is blocked because the window is obstructed by the furniture. The cleaning could also be improved, but it's fine for a few nights."
