"spent a went here as part of a group from the UK. I emailed the hotel a month before arriving asking about kettles and pool towels but they never replied Things I wish I had known before i got there that there was a Kettle in the room Pool towels not provided but were for rent €10 cash deposit €5 back on return Swim caps mandatory €2 cash They say it is for hygene reasons but it does not apply to men with bushy beards or hairy chests Pool closed from 12.30 until 4 every day Pool bar staff and reception staff very unfriendly they are more interested in Italian and German guests restaurant staff were good. Nowhere to get a drink/ water/ coffee / snacks during the day until pool,bar opens in the afternoon. Bar inside the hotel was never open even after before or after dinner , reception said go to the pool bar , not everyone wants to sit out side at night and listen to the childish antics of the entertainers and get bitten. Air con was a must as it was 35° but it never got very cold , also it was very noisy. Hairdryer in bath room was not very good wish I had taken my own . Food was good always found something appealing."

"I have visited Hotel Ariston for two nights during an international conference with about 600-700 participants. The hotel is very well organised, and the presence of so many people, along with other private events during that period, can be managed excellently without disturbing the pleasant atmosphere the Hotel Ariston offers. A very nice beach area (connected with the hotel shuttle) is also available for the customer of the hotel. The available SPA is also super equiped and professionally managed. I warmly suggest Hotel Ariston both for a relaxing holiday as well as for business event, for conferences as well as for private events."

"We start with the strengths: the common parts of the hotel (breakfast, outdoor, reception and corridors) are clean and very clean, probably recently renovated. Breakfast is not very different but with excellent products, even without gluten. We had booked two rooms, one four-and one five-fold. When we arrived at 8.30 in the morning, they were kind to let us leave all the bags in the four-fold because the five-fold wasn't ready. When he returned from the sea, around 19.30, the fifth was not ready yet; he had no fifth bed, no fifth shower box and no refrigerator in the suitable furniture. After a while they came to bring the bed and the refrigerator, the fifth ever arrived. We had to connect the refrigerator to the current by force (as required by the same serviceman who brought it to the room) on the grip to get a schuko into a "normal" grip. The room was very dirty, and both the entrance ceiling and the bathroom ceiling had inconfundable muffa spots, the bathroom was blind and without a vacuum cleaner (if there was any system, it was not anyway), So already at the second consecutive shower (we were in five) a tropical climate was formed. Our friends in the four-folds did not go much better, because they found towels with old, probably bloody, never treated and the air conditioning unmodulable; they preferred to shut it off and suffer warm (in these days the temperature is up to 40 degrees) rather than a bronchitis. "

Designer rooms equipped with every comfort, excellent and careful cleaning, varied breakfast both sweet and savory, with fresh products, homemade and not industrial cakes, quality, you can feel that everything is carefully chosen by the owners, the staff is kind, attentive and ready to satisfy every need, a wonderful garden with Jacuzzi and both sauna and Turkish bath in total tranquility and privacy, there are not enough words to describe everything, believe me! Book and you will realize for yourself that there are places and places......we spent wonderful days, thank you for everything! Mary and Marcello"

The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast with a stunning view each morning. Pool was glorious. Rooms were clean, comfortable and full of Italian charm. Excellent base for Paestum archeological site."

"There's no way to capture the beauty that is Borgo la Pietraia! The rooms are massive w/ gorgeous patios, spacious bathrooms, and all the amenities. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool is perfect for cooling down in the afternoons. The staff will feel like family before you leave. They treated us better than we deserve. We had a lot of requests because we were traveling with two families with different allergies & schedules & needs, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate! Breakfast was an incredible spread of healthy options. We also ate at the restaurant several times for both lunch & dinner. The chef was SO kind to accommodate our allergies....they went above and beyond. There wasn't a single meal we didn't love! This place is more than a gorgeous place to lay your head at night... it's an experience that will get you addicted to true Italian culture. Recommendations: I'd highly suggest you stay here if you are headed to Amalfi, as this is significantly less money, but much more peaceful. You can easily do a day trip into Amalfi to see it, but then come back here at night. Even better, visit the buffalo mozzarella farm, grab a pizza in Paestum, check out the views in Agropoli, and wander the village behind Castello dell'Abate. You won't regret it. "
