"spent a went here as part of a group from the UK. I emailed the hotel a month before arriving asking about kettles and pool towels but they never replied Things I wish I had known before i got there that there was a Kettle in the room Pool towels not provided but were for rent €10 cash deposit €5 back on return Swim caps mandatory €2 cash They say it is for hygene reasons but it does not apply to men with bushy beards or hairy chests Pool closed from 12.30 until 4 every day Pool bar staff and reception staff very unfriendly they are more interested in Italian and German guests restaurant staff were good. Nowhere to get a drink/ water/ coffee / snacks during the day until pool,bar opens in the afternoon. Bar inside the hotel was never open even after before or after dinner , reception said go to the pool bar , not everyone wants to sit out side at night and listen to the childish antics of the entertainers and get bitten. Air con was a must as it was 35° but it never got very cold , also it was very noisy. Hairdryer in bath room was not very good wish I had taken my own . Food was good always found something appealing."

The grounds were kept in impeccable order and the hotel itself was by far the best we have stayed in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone…..just beautiful. "

"We stayed at this hotel on a whim because our stay was not quite to our expectations. The manager was very friendly and made an effort to find a room despite being fully booked. Luckily, we got one. They only had one room left. The room was small but very nice and clean. It came with breakfast which was delicious and access to the beach club which was also nice. I want to thank the manager for being so kind and making a real effort to find us a room, showing us around, and just going above and beyond in general. We’ll be back!"

"Borgo la Pietraia offers an exceptional vantage point for experiencing the region. During our May visit, the climate was agreeable, though I anticipate that the elevated position of the property would be even more appreciated during the summer months. The estate features expansive, meticulously maintained gardens and a swimming pool, both offering panoramic views of the valley. Our deluxe accommodation was remarkably spacious and elegantly appointed, complete with a charming, albeit compact, terrace that provided sea views. The restaurant terrace also afforded stunning vistas of both the sea and the valley. The bathroom facilities were generously proportioned. The location itself was notably tranquil. Breakfast service was comprehensive and satisfying, with the option to order custom egg preparations such as omelets. We also availed ourselves of the dinner service, which presented a gourmet culinary experience prioritizing the quality of dishes. The pasta dishes we sampled were particularly noteworthy. Given the excellent value, we wholeheartedly endorse this establishment."

"We stayed for 2 weeks in the Cerere residence. Very spacious, bright apartment, complete with every comfort. Free access to the hotel's swimming pools and restaurant. A shuttle took us to the property's private beach, a newly built lido, very welcoming, modern and elegant. Very spaced sunbeds and very helpful and friendly staff. We recommend it. Fam. The hotel is very beautiful, immersed in nature, and our first floor room “Gaza” is very large and comfortable. Free breakfast included in the tariff, with very good products, always fresh as spectacular crowns with citrus. We hope to be able to come back soon, because we were really good. Thank you all! "When we arrived in the room (very small and located at the end of the 1st floor, with a view of the roof, shower inside the bedroom and WC at the entrance) we found it full of ants and insects, both alive and dead) we asked for explanations given that the staff were knowledgeable and had sprinkled the room and toilet with powder to kill the ants. Answer: At the moment we do not have other rooms available for a change and they offer us a change of hotel about a kilometer away PAESTUM INN BEACH RESORTE 4 stars instead of 5 stars of the MEC PAESTUM or alternatively they would have given us something back. In the end we accepted, even though the location was outside the town and a type suitable for the sea. Obviously it wasn't what I wanted and less than what I requested and paid for. No refunds from the property. Definitely avoid next time."

"Very nice place with clean and ordered rooms with wifi. Bathroom full of towels for every need of a very strong bed bed comfortable view of houses from the window.The lady that manages and gentle because when we arrived, she asked you what kind of breakfast we wanted in the morning between the menu. Then the hyper clean rooms are already included in the room a mini-fridge with water and then wine over the desk and with TV. The kitchens must be larger. Then there is a space shower with sensor LEDs and then they give us a shampoo and banoshium and a savon.This was the day in this B&B and the summer wonderful"

"The welcome was wonderful. Hotel or beach everywhere courtesy and friendliness always present like the owners who were always ready to satisfy requests or needs. Cozy room, excellent catering both in the hotel and on the beach where you can also enjoy an excellent pizza if you want. Truly superb continental breakfast. Staff up to the tasks entrusted from the reception to the lounge and the bar. Really beautiful swimming pool, with hydromassage and bar. In short, we spent a real, pleasant and pampered holiday in every sense. What if we were to return? But hurry...!"

"The hotel was absolutely incredible from professionalism of staff to the grounds it was on to the decorative pieces in the common areas - elegance and breath-taking views. We based ourselves here to travel to different places via car - Agropoli, Paestum, Temples, Salerno (boat trip), Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii. We woke up every morning, excited for free breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, fresh bread, orange juice and lots more options with an incredible view behind. The only thing we wished we did was the Spa but we didn’t have enough time. We went to various restaurants nearby - Pizzeria Villaggio Dei Pini (pizza), Gnhamburger (burgers) and we ate at the Beach Club which was great service. Couldn’t have asked for a better location away from the tourists places, base myself to explore, experience local culture and cuisine and we had the best holiday!! Thank you and hopefully see you in the future."

"We recently stayed at hotel Cerere for our wedding holiday with family and friends.. we came twice... before an after the wedding and it was an amazing and unforgettable experience. the service was impeccable and every staff member we encountered was courteous and attentive. there receptionist were especially amazing. they were welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. their exceptional service truly enhanced our stay. The restaurant team also deserve to be mentioned as they were always attentive and ready to serve with a big smile and great professionality. we highly recommend this hotel for any occasion and we will definitely come back. We stayed in this residence for a week, minimal but comfortable apartment, with the possibility of using the hotel services, restaurant, swimming pool and shuttle to go down to the beach. The structure is located 700/800 meters from the private beach, where you can enjoy an excellent beach service, and where you are welcomed by Marcello the lifeguard who is the added value to the structure!!! "We LOVE this place. The lobby is magnificent. There are many places to sit and look around - there is perfect beauty all around. Check in is super easy - get a key and go to your room! I didn’t see porters …. But we didn’t need one. Just grabbed my suitcase from the lot next door ( pkg was free!) and in I went. The pool is amazing - the grounds are amazing yet wonderfully not overwhelming- easy to get from room to grounds to pool- I didn’t see a gym / didn’t need it - right across the street from an easy walk through pine trees to the beach. 5 star luxury here. Turn down service - w free slippers by your bed!Room is a little small but so well appointed you don’t even notice or care! They have a minibar refrigerator - we didn’t use it. The balcony was a little small but we did use it - better than not having a balcony at all right? The room, halls, closets, doors, restaurant, floors, bathrooms are clean clean clean.This place is a five all the way."
