San Antonio Resort ★★★
"Great stay, free shuttle to the airport is the best part."
Asia Novo Boutique Hotel - Roxas ★
"The place is nearby to stores, malls etc. The staff are friendly and accommodating."
Pete's Inn ★★
"For a couple of days it was alright to stay here. Most staff were friendly enough. The room floor wasn't that clean when I went in but they swept it for me. Wifi was fine in the room. Aircon is noisy. The location is ok but not sure about walking around that area at night although I did. There is water and hot water and cups for coffee and tea which is nice too. I'd stay again if in Roxas. Shower are just cold water but it's refreshing."
Hotel Veronica ★★★
"I check in at the height of the heat index in the region, the room was comfy with all accompanying amenities, Robinsons mall is just across, staff were friendly and hospitable, my short stay turned into 1 week, was planning to extend but mngmnt has book the whole floor for future guests. Overall great."
Alunsina Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were kind and fast, the swimming pool was clean my kids really enjoyed it."
Roxas President's Inn ★★★
"will book again"

Espacio Verde Resort
"Disappointing Stay – Needs Significant Maintenance and Cleaning Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room appeared poorly maintained and in need of a thorough cleaning and renovation. The carpet in front of the bed and around the small couch was heavily stained and looked as though very little effort had been made to clean it. The old cabinet and furniture in the closet were falling apart, to the point that we were uncomfortable storing our clothes in them. There was also a step going from the room into the bathroom that was not clearly marked and could easily cause someone to trip or become injured. The toilet seat was loose and would slide sideways when sitting on it. We requested that maintenance fix it, but the problem remained. The room also had a strong, musty smell that reminded us of old cigars, which made the room unpleasant to spend time in. The location and atmosphere were also not what we expected. It appeared that the property allows the general public to use the pool, particularly families with children, so if swimming is your primary reason for staying here, that may be a positive. Otherwise, there did not seem to be much else nearby that made the location particularly appealing. The one bright spot was the breakfast, which was good. Overall, based on the condition and cleanliness of the room and the lack of attention to basic maintenance issues, we would not choose to stay here again unless significant improvements are made."
Calle Cinco Resort
"Calle Cinco is a small resort a little way off route 505 near Pilar. It has a great pool (highly chlorinated) and a decent restaurant, and these are open to day/evening visitors. The accommodation consists of little bamboo A-frames which look pretty and are set in nice gardens. We enjoyed the pool and restaurant but unfortunately not the stay. The rooms are not at all secure, the windows are flimsy and many of the latches are broken. The door locks are also not up to much, I won't go into details but I was easily able to enter our locked room without a key. No safe box is provided. Inside is very basic, the furniture is rustic, beds are rough bamboo frames with 3 inch foam mattresses. These are not comfortable to sleep on, and you have to be very careful if you want to avoid scraping your skin on the rough edges. Watch for protruding nails elsewhere in the room too. Power outlets are not well located, e.g. behind the bedhead. The bathroom is squeezy, the side-facing toilet in the larger rooms have very little leg room, but the worst aspect is that the water in our room was only a trickle nearly all of the time. When we complained we were told the water pressure had been reduced but don't worry we'll fix it now... a short time later it was shut off again. Every single time. After 3 days of having to either complain every time or shower from a bucket, we were not happy. I was also quite concerned that with all this bamboo and so little water pressure, I saw no fire prevention measures at all - no visible fire extinguishers, exit plan or signage. Nice pool, nice restaurant, friendly staff but not recommended to sleep here."
Urban Manor Hotel
"The room is very bad"
Islands Hotel
"Good hotel in Raxas city. The kaffa house has good spread of breakfast food. Tried local break with cheese egg and coffee a small discussion on sea food paradise! Had good time"
The Beachhouse and Bar
"The service is just wonderful they do their best to make you happy. I asked upgrade and paid the difference. This is not a star standard hotel but okay anyhow for a pass overnight stay. The private beach doesn't look inviting if you consider the dirt and litters all around. All in all it's gonna be okay for those looking for low budget stay. I couldn't enjoy shower the next morning.I think there is water shortage and problem in this hotel. Breakfast was simple don't expect too.much, no buffet Here. Though clean and good staff. If i can't shower no second time."
