"Nice hotel with comfortable beds. The staff here can’t do enough for you and go above and beyond what is expected. The only down side being the loud music coming from the leisure centre next door, but it didn’t go into the night and never disturbed my sleep. Would definitely stay here again. Don’t use the local taxis if you value your life, ours did 60 in a 30 and didn’t care for indication. Walked into town from that moment onwards."

"This was an overnight stay for us as we drove from Rome to Gallipoli. After we left the next morning, we wished we had stayed longer! Arrived in the dark and greeted by the owner who spoke little but adequate English. We were shown to our room which was clean and spacious with a kitchen and bath. We enjoyed both dinner (paid a nominal amount) and breakfast (included) in the attached restaurant. The next morning, as we were leaving, we noted the beauty of the grounds and surrounding area. "

"We are two Orthodox Christian monastics from New Zealand and we came on pilgrimage to visit St Benedict's monastery here in Monte Cassino. We cannot recommend Boteroom high enoigh. The apartment was immaculate, spotlessly clean, marbelled throughout, spacious bathrooms, the common large kitchen was very well supplied with more than we could have used or imagined. Boteroom is a short walk to the downtown area for restaurants and shopping. The road leading up the mountain to the monastery is leterally just around the corner from Boteroom. If this is your purpose for visiting this area, then look no further to what Giacomo has prepared for you with the Boteroom apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we unreservedly recommend it you you also."

"I booked one night, and they offered me an economy room because they didn't have any available (so they said). They advertise themselves as a 4-star hotel, but considering the environment I found, 2 stars would be enough. I expected a 4-star economy room.... Damp and uncomfortable beds, dirty walls, and there wasn't even a refrigerator in the room. Nothing to complain about the staff, they were all very kind."

"We stayed for 5 days in September in the 2 studio apartments. The location of the small complex is stunning with views of the mountains and famous abbey from the accommodation. The studios were comfortable and clean. We had a few minor teething problems with toilets and lighting the gas stove, which were resolved immediately by our hosts. The studios were missing the quintessential british kitchen item - a kettle - for a cuppa, but we sourced one in town, so no problem. The aircon was up to the job (and needed to be in 30+ degree heat), which made our studio a sanctuary after a long day exploring. The complex was quiet and restful, parking plentiful and overall the stay was excellent. We would definitely go back."
