"Overnight stay following a wedding. Great location for our purpose. Room was clean and had all of the expected amenities and services. Tea tray was well stocked. Check in is 2pm, which was awkward as the wedding service was at 1:30. I booked two rooms so paid an additional £20 to check in early at one of these rooms. I telephoned the reservations team on two occasions a few days prior to our stay to enquire about the check in process and how access to the room would be facilitated since we would not be returning from the wedding until 1am. My only criticism would be the lack of clarity I received from the respondents. As a result of the insufficient answers to my questions, I made provision to leave the wedding venue during the day to check in at the second room. Upon arrival at the Two Rivers, all my additional arrangements were negated as the gentleman who checked us in, allowed us to check in for the second room there and then and take the key card. Other family members were staying in the room and I was paying for it. The access to the room was via a separate accommodation block and simply using the key card. All my additional arrangements to check in during the day were unnecessary. It would have been very easy if the respondents to my telephone calls earlier that week had given me that information. We had a good night's sleep and the breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced."

"What a little gem of a hotel! The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes' walk from the River Wye. Every member of staff was amazing—genuinely friendly, welcoming, and interested in making our stay enjoyable. Our room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was delicious throughout our stay. Sue's pies are highly praised by the locals, so we had to try them for ourselves—and they certainly lived up to the hype. Handmade and packed with flavour, they were a real highlight. The service was excellent too; everything was prompt and efficient, and we never had to wait long for anything. If I were to make one small suggestion, it would be to offer baked beans with the cooked breakfast. Other than that, everything was fantastic. We're already checking the calendar to plan our return visit! 10/10"

"I have never received such great customer service. Craig did everything he could to accommodate our stay and would highly recommend his cottage. Nothing was too much trouble and our stay was very comfortable and the area so convenient for a wedding at Mounton Brook. Craig also provided a long list of taxis to enable our return to the cottage. Thank you"

Delta Hotels St. Pierre Country Club ★★★★
"I stayed here for sad reasons - my good friend's funeral wake was held here. However , the assets of the St Pierre still shone through, and improved my day. Staff excellent, the old main building interesting and lovely, with it's Norman church. Bars and restaurants predictably expensive, but the quality was excellent. Rooms are lodges, making it feel like an upmarket Centerparcs, not in a bad way. This must be paradise for wealthy golfers. Even for non-golfing me, enjoyed it very much. Two Rivers Lodge by Marston’s Inns ★★★★
"Stayed at two rivers as I was attending a wedding nearby. Room only. Pros: Ample parking Allowed me to pick up my keycard early (as I would be at the wedding until after 10pm) Taylors coffee bags and Yorkshire tea in the room were better than the average hotel tea and coffee. Cons: The toilet seat was broken and had sticky tape holding it together. Not sure this is very sanitary. I would stay here again but for £120 per night a taped up toilet seat is not good enough."

"My wife and I stayed here for a night while walking Offa’s Dyke Path, the hotel being convenient as it is only 1 mile off the path and gives the opportunity to visit Tintern village and the Abbey. Welcoming hosts. Large, clean, comfortable room. Good selection of dishes on dinner menu and lovely meal. Good choice of breakfast, all beautifully cooked to order."

"Very comfortable stay in a private house with easy access and cheap parking over the road, close to all amenities and kitchen facilities. The courtyard to the rear was perfect on a sunny day before the races and the landlord was very helpful thank you!"

"The room is an old hotel with a history of hundreds of years. If you like this atmosphere, you can experience it. It feels a bit like the game "Stephenci's Memory". I didn't give five stars because if you arrive at night, it feels like a game, and the bird food is a bit scary. If you are a girl, you should consider it. Self-check-in, old houses naturally have inconveniences, but the price is there after all."

Broadrock Accommodation - Clock Cottage ★★★★
"A great place to stay when visiting the Chepstow area. We stayed in The Loft which is a large studio bedroom with kitchen area, sitting area and large bathroom with shower and roll top bath. There is everything you need for a self catering break. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Outside patio for guests to use. Offas Duke path is just outside the back gate and Wintour's leap view is a 2 minute walk. Chepstow is a lovely small town with a few independent shops, good pubs and a castle. The Riverside is lovely for a stroll or to sit and watch the Peregrine Falcons swooping on the cliffs."
