The rooms are so clean and comfortable — and every possible detail has been considered: from a fresh bedside carafe of water, to a breakfast with hot coffee, garden fresh fruit, local cheese and bread from one of four boulangerie… it’s like staying in a fairy tail. Best of all are the gracious hosts, Emmanuel and Michel. From making supper reservations, to giving tips on all of the area attractions, they are examples of French gentility and hospitality. We hope to return soon to Manoir de la Fieffe! Merci!"

"We spent one night in this hotel before taking the ferry back to Ireland. The hotel has reserved parking and is ideally located being very close to the ferry terminal while at the same time within easy walking distance of the town centre (with excellent shopping). in addition, just accross the square from the hotel there was a Carrefour Hypermarket so we were able to top up our supplies of beer, wine and other necessities. We were welcomed to the hotel by very friendly and helpful staff at reception who indicated where we could get a small meal close by as it was just outside the normal period for lunch. We stayed in a Junior Suite on the sixth floor which had an excellent view of the inner port area, where a nice Swedish sailing ship was berthed, as well as a view over the city centre. The room was comfortable with plenty of power points, comfortable bed and good shower. As we were tired, we decided to dine in the hotel restaurant that evening where we had a nice relaxing meal. All in all this was a most enjoyable experience."
