Room is spacious and can definitely spread out 3 full luggages. Booked it at most at $35 at a night. At that price point, its definitely a bargain!"

"The staff at the Seagull Hotel were incredibly warm and welcoming. When we arrived at the station during a storm, the hotel staff kindly offered us dry towels to wipe away the rain. The grilled chicken skewers shop across from the hotel was also delicious (pictured below, just across the street from the hotel, a half-minute walk away). The elderly staff there were very cheerful and friendly. Choshi City is a warm and peaceful little town with beautiful scenery and abundant natural resources. The vegetable and seafood soy sauce pancakes were also very tasty! I loved it."

"I used it on a couple trip. The room and food were very good. The room was a corner room on the second floor and had an open-air bath. We could see the lighthouse from our room, and we could see the Moon Road that night (although it wasn't a full moon). I think this should be addressed across the board. It was very beautiful. The welcome drinks at the lobby were peach tea and sable. The peach tea had a refreshing scent that was soothing. I was also happy to have Choshi Electric Railway's wet rice crackers prepared in the room. Also, probably because it was a weekday at the end of the month, there weren't many guests (I think there were only about 4 groups that day.) Perhaps because of that, the air conditioner in the common hallway in the guest room wasn't working, so it was cold. The journey to the public bath was cold, and (there were several bathtubs with no hot water in the public bath.) It's a shame because it's such a nice inn...I wonder if it's going to be more lively on weekends and in the summer?　 I thought it would be great if more people visited and the unused facilities were opened up and revitalized. There are also many attractions to explore around the area. Next time I will visit with my family!"

"Easy to locate as it is probably the most prominent building in Choshi. Parking was usually full and so had to park at paid parking behind (500 yen for 24 hours). Clean spacious room. Onsite onsen was a plus. Breakfast spread was good. Will stay here again"

"We stayed here with our family during Golden Week. It had been 18 years since my last visit, when I was married to my wife. I was worried after hearing the news of the hotel's financial difficulties at the end of last year, but it wasn't as bad as I expected, and we had a comfortable stay. Although the building is old, all the staff were kind, and we had a very pleasant stay. The meals were also very generous in portion and delicious. The hot springs were nice, but the open-air bath (men's bath) is completely visible from the campsite, so I think some kind of protective measures should be taken for everyone's sake."

"This hotel left a very deep impression on me. The windows offer unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and the lighthouse. The onsen downstairs was incredibly comfortable, and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. There were also snacks, desserts, and local specialties available downstairs. The hotel breakfast was exquisite, and you can reserve a shuttle bus to the station the next morning. However, the hotel's location is rather inconvenient, so I recommend driving yourself. The scenery here will not disappoint and is well worth a visit!"

"The information on the Trip and its bot isn't right, also the phone number is not correct as well in case you want to contact them. The reception IS NOT 24 HOURS. They work 9–21 only. You can't move in after 21, and hotels around are closed too — I tried calling to absolutely every hotel. Kamome have a bunch of numbers on their door, but be ready none of them will be answered after 21. Be careful. A man from combini saved my life, somehow after about 20 minutes of trying to call hotels (just like did I), he finally got Kamome's right number and they answered. Idk if it is true or not, but they said on reception that the problem was a number. Anyway, after this absolutely stressful experience I got my room safely thanks to combini man. My personal experience became like that because I couldn't tell the hotel my train was delayed and I arrived a way later than 24 — it was mentioned on Trip.com that they work 24/7, so I was hoping it is okay just like with hotels in places like Tokyo, but of course it was not, since Choshi is so far away from tourists places.... Thanks for the reception who accepted me during the night, but false information on the Trip.com and multiple numbers things had worsen this experience. I'm not experienced solo traveler, this trip started very stressfully for me."
