"Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in Superior room, without breakfast. In terms of value for money i was satisfied but it should be said that the room feels small, and i think that it would not be comfortable for a couple. The gym is not a gym for anything beside cardio and only if there are a few guests at the same time. While i was there, i told the staff that the AC in the gym is not working, and it was not fixed for several days so it was boiling there (near the sauna). The hotel can also do small things that can make the feeling much better, like have proper cups for hot beverages and not foam disposable cups and upgrade the coffee machines so you could make more than one cup of tea each time. Location is good for me, because i used public transportation to hike near by. Its also fairly close to a good branch of Supermercado (10 minutes walk) and a huge branch of Carefour (about 20 minutes walk)."

"When I saw the Google ratings, I couldn't believe the poor reviews. However, it seems that seeing is believing. It was the worst experience of my life; I wouldn't come back even if it were free. The receptionist treated customers terribly; she was unsympathetic and, what's more, not very pleasant. In a job with direct customer service, you should try to provide decent service even if you're having a bad day. The room and facilities are terrible. In short, not recommended, even if it's a bit cheaper than other hotels in the area."

"The hotel has 24-hour digital reception, it works with code, so it is quite comfortable and you are served by video calling in the hostel itself. The rooms were well, though they smell very badly as a washing that, despite closing the bathroom and ventilating, it still smells when we returned. We commented and changed our room, but the smell was the same in the new room, we imagined it was a general installation problem. The cleaning well, although we find a half-use bag of mould bread above the box, and the lamp of the mesite had a lot of visible powder when it was lighted, so don't wait for a cleaning of 10."

"Super helpful staff!!! I travel with a mobility scooter; it's fully accessible, with elevator. The rooms, like most European hotels, are small by US standards, but certainly adequate. Super clean, minimal breakfast. I had a problem with my scooter, and the hotel desk clerks worked to get me to the right repair place for a replacement battery charger. SUPERB staff. About 2 blocks from the cathedral, so really handy locale."

"This guesthouse is centrally located, right next to the old town, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The city isn't very large, so most attractions are within walking distance. The guesthouse has a classic style, and the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Despite being in a bustling area, it's very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a bathtub, and all basic toiletries are provided, except for slippers. Today, it rained, and the guesthouse thoughtfully lent me an umbrella. It's only about a 15-minute walk (1 km) from the guesthouse to the train station. Staying here, you're surrounded by various cafes, pastry shops, and restaurants, catering to all your daily needs. The old town is just across the street – incredibly convenient! The guesthouse offers great value for money, and I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay here."

"The hot thing about this place were the location (right close to downtown and the historical part, with walkable distances everywhere) and the price (pretty affordable when compared to other options). The check in was also pretty easy to go through and fast, something that worked for us as we got into the hotel quite late (after 11pm). There was no real person there, though. The downside: 1. I visited during the second week of December and, though really cold outside, they just turned the heat on twice a day. I felt cold and couldn't sleep that well. 2. We were given a facing-the-street room without any sound blocking, so I could hear the cars and people talking, waking me up a few times. Also, there's internal sound blocking as well--you will hear TVs and other sounds from people. So the quality of sleep was really put into question here. 3. The room was just ok--not as you see in the pictures, but with older painting and decoration 4. The mattress was not comfortable, a little used, not providing good sleep quality If you're really short on budget and don't mind other people's sounds and external sounds, this might be a place for you. I will not go back to it."
