"As soon as we met Sue, the owner, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. She was friendly, provided us with local information, and could not have been nicer. The cabin itself, was adorable. It had everything we could have needed including an extra bed, table and chairs, and a deck with two chairs. the kitchen was well organized. They loaned us a shovel, and beach towels when we went to Hot Beach, as well as a laundry rack for drying clothes. They have a washer and they will dry your clothing for you or else they have old fashion drying racks. They have a great bus walk that begins outside the hotel. It is worth the walk. The hotel is a short walk to the town, which has several restaurnats, and little art shops. It is a great location to visit forest and marine parks. IT is near Mateuraangi Jetty where you can see beautiful sunsets."

"Positives: The location was fabulous and enough parking. We thought that the variety of cabins and tent/caravan accessibility is a great asset to the accommodation. The hosts were very lovely, welcoming and accommodating with suggestions. Beds were comfy and well made. It was a quiet area. Negatives: There was an air-conditioner in the cabin and it cooled down the main living area however it did not reach the bedroom, which was well needed on the night we stayed. "

"Beautiful beach front cabin, bright and clean. Situated right by the beach. From the room and balcony you are looking straight at the beautiful Oamaru Bay. Kitchenette has everything you need. Beds were comfortable. Host was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."
