"I have just had the worst restaurant experience of my life, which has ruined my short holiday in Crozon. We were having a nice lunch inside the restaurant. First courses of oysters and duck salad were good. Then main dishes of magret de canard and seafood assiette were going well when suddenly an influx of flies descended all over the table, going into the glass of wine and all over the food. I have never known anything like this when eating inside a restaurant. I asked for the rest of my food to be wrapped to take away as I could not face eating any more there. The waitress said it was because I had chosen the seafood! I paid the bill, but when I mentioned the situation to the owner, he said it wasn’t his fault and he didn’t care, and he denied that flies can cause disease. Then he decided he could no longer speak English. He tried to seize my husband’s (expensive) camera, told us to leave and to go back to our country! He is a disgrace and is not fit to run a customer-facing establishment. I notice that other reviews have criticized the new owner and people should avoid the restaurant at all costs."

"This complex of apartments is bang-smack on the sea front and our apartment was the closest of the lot to the sea. Just brilliant if you love to listen to the sound of the waves, as we do. It’s a relatively small space but well designed to fit everything in that you need for a short stay. It’s bright, airy and cheery. Wifi worked well and there’s a communal infinity pool to enjoy if you’re so inclined. It’s all very secure, protected by multi-layered electronic door security. Quiet too, residents are respectful of noise pollution. There’s lots to do in the immediate area and it’s well served by fab coastal walking and good restaurants. "

"We rented a maisonette with capacity for 6 people, although this was to house 4 as we weren't looking to use the sofa bed. Downstairs is open plan with a mini kitchen in the corner, plus a living area with a dining table with four chairs, plus a sofa bed. There are doors leading to a little area of decking with a plastic outdoor table and chairs. Our little terrace was facing a couple of others but they're all quite well spaced out. There's also a separate toilet downstairs which is useful. Upstairs there are two bedrooms plus a bathroom with toilet. The bedrooms are small but not tiny. There's a double bed in one and twin beds in the other. The twin bed room only has a skylight, which gives plenty of light, but zero view. Also, there's no shade for the skylight so when the sun comes up the room is lit up. Everything is pretty worn but it's all reasonably comfortable. There's a small pool on site but it's enclosed (in glass). We didn't use it so I can't comment on it. The site is maybe 10 to 15 minutes walk from the town, or just a couple of minutes drive. There's a supermarket just where you arrive at the town, with everything you would need, and there are plenty of restaurants. Just be aware that everything closes pretty early and in high season restaurants tend to get booked up well in advance. You can't head out at eight o'clock thinking you're going to easily find a place to eat."
