"The Bee farm is built with a rustic look and looks great and different, loved it. But the rooms look very old and outdated and needs refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Also a lot of light pollution into the room from the big window in the door. Even though the restaurant serve organic grown foods, I did find the food bland and did expect better flavoured dishes. Did find it strange they added parmesan on a vegetarian dish... A great concept and can be done better with a few upgrades."

"A small, cozy hotel with clean, well-maintained rooms and beautiful grounds. You can always grab a meal at the restaurant. The staff was incredibly helpful; they assisted us with booking a ferry, arranging transfers, and even drove us around to see the sights."

"Everything is just great! We just fell in love with this place, with a large green yard, a pond, a swimming pool. We planned to stay here for 2 days, but ended up staying for a week and still don't want to leave! Everything is clean and wonderful, the service is excellent! Cool water, they put aromatic sticks around the yard if mosquitoes appear. They called and agreed on bikes with a discount. So we are very happy."

"This is actually an AirBnb type place. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. I had a a plan to "leave my bags" at the hotel because I arrived long before 2pm check in. But I discovered that it's just rooms with self check-in; you get the key from a lock box and let yourself in. Fortunately, my room was ready and I could already occupy the room. Again, not a bad thing necessarily, just be aware. The room was very clean, modern, felt cozy and nice. Very local area, middle of nowhere, with a chicken farm 10 meters away (bring ear plugs...) It's really in the middle of nowhere so expect to walk or somehow find a tuktuk to shuttle you out of there. However, the guest manager with I was emailing was very helpful and even arranged for a motorbike to be delivered to me. Overall nice place, would recommend if you want something peaceful and quiet."

"location with access to the beach is great unfortunately the room available at that time was a standard room, too narrow for three beds to fit front office didn’t mention about extra amenities in the hotel like a live band in the evening or fireworks by the beach; we also missed to ask though premises has a very well manicured garden especially the green sprawling grass, the parking space is very limited to about 20 vehicles or less towels look shabby and off-white already, needing replacement in fairness, ala carte food is well prepared and tasty, though the complimentary buffet breakfast is just average sausage, fish, pork and eggs all in all, the Mexican/Mediterranean vibes of the place makes it unique from other resorts, especially that it has a Dino Park nestled around the well kept trees and gardens"

"This place was one of the best. We had everything we needed in the house and more. Even shnorkels and life vests, we rented the car stright from the owner. They have pool cleanner on a dauly base. We will be back."

"A quiet place Private grounds with parking and a swimming pool. There's access to the sea, but it's for fishermen; the water is murky and the entry is awkward. Wi-Fi is available at reception. We stayed in a cottage with two large beds. The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was included: rice, a drink, scrambled eggs, and either ham or sausage. It was sparse, but it was there."

"Wonderful staff. No apparent capital improvement budget. While this property features some of the best views of the ocean, Tagbilaran, the sea port and beyond, the hotel is out dated and desperately needs to be updated. The first time I met the owner, Hanno, he was very friendly. But afterwards he was not very friendly or social, even to the point of not returning a hello or good morning gesture. With an aggressive improvement program, this could be one of the premier properties on the Panglao Island."
