"I think it is a hotel turned into a villa, the location is 5-10 minutes from everywhere, the parking fee is 15 Euros, don't pay, there is a free parking lot in the neighborhood right across, there is the coastal road below, I recommend it for walking."

"The room was pleasant, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The shower was awkward to use, with no shelf for toiletries. Breakfast was standard European fare: boiled eggs, cheese, sausage, vegetables, delicious melon and watermelon, and so on. The hotel was fairly close to the beach."

"An extremely friendly and welcoming hotel. The staff were always available to help. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. The restaurant and breakfast area allowed for indoor and outdoor dining. The restaurant team were so helpful and offered tastings to try all of the exquisite dishes on the menu. The Manager made time for everyone and provided tailor made tours and experiences of all the experiences available in the area surrounding the hotel. A truly wonderful hotel."

"We had an amazing stay here - it really is a uniquely great hotel. The stand-out part is definitely the staff. They are so friendly and happy to help with anything. They organised a boat trip that picked us up from the beach by the hotel which saved us walking to the old town. The hotel itself is modern and very clean. Our room had a partial sea view as described which was beautiful, it was spacious and kept very clean by the great housekeeping. The breakfast was yummy and had a good selection. Your eggs were cooked fresh by the chef how you liked. The grounds and pool were also great - we loved the tortoises roaming around! We had such a great experience here - the complete opposite from a lot of other hotels which are bigger and do not take as much care. The hotel is also a great location for exploring the wider area, it was walkable to Kotor old town and lots of restaurants in the surrounding area - it was only a 1 minute walk to the beach. We hired a car which we could park for free at the hotel, and were able to see more of Montenegro this way. Would definitely recommend a trip to Perast, the cable cars to explore Lovcen national park and Budva."

"We were at this restaurant 2 days ago in a large group of 12 people, we were poorly served by one waiter, the service was terrible, removing the dishes from the table and offering dessert while there were still people eating. They didn't place our order correctly, one person had to wait for their order to come and to our surprise, the missing order was duplicated and we had to pay for it since another waiter who was more friendly said that if we didn't pay they would have to pay! In addition to having the worst service diring our vacation we also paid a 10% tip! The food was good but I won't be back and I don't recommend it! There are better options with better service!"

"It's got lots right. But there's room for improvement. 1 star knocked off for the rude management and 1 star knocked off for the poor evening food. Beautiful views, very comfortable bed. Great chill space, sunbeds, pool & a sauna. Never had a problem getting a sunbed and pretty much always had the sauna to ourselves. The breakfast was delicious, varied each day, a great spread, very friendly service, a highlight of the day. The location isn't great, whilst we don't mind walking, it is set on a hill which is quite a walk up and down from the sea which means options for dinner are limited unless you want to get a taxi. At the hotel, the fish soup was delicious, but everything else we had for dinner was disappointing. The beef was overcooked, very dry and the menu noted it came with vegetables and a sauce, it came with neither. We asked for bread with the soup, and got cheap sliced white bread that you would use for toast at best. The salmon dish (22€) was completely tasteless and dry. You'd expect a lot better quality for a 4* hotel and for the prices, especially when dinner options in the area are limited. We raised the issue with the staff, as we thought the feedback was important. We are not people to complain as don't like to be negative but feel feedback is important. The staff spoke with their manager and we were told there was nothing they can do and we'd have to pay as we ate the meal (even though we didn't, we left pretty much all of it). This is when we requested to speak to the manager. Unfortunately the manager was very rude. In the end, they agreed to remove the salmon only from the bill and the manager informed us that her staff would have to pay because we were refusing to. For me, after working in hospitality management for 15 years, this was the most disappointing part. It's a real shame, that could have easily been diffused with a sincere apology and just decent managerial skills. It wasn't nice to be belittled and to be made to feel like we were in the wrong. Trust me, I'd rather avoid conflict and all costs. I would struggle to recommend staying in this hotel after this experience. The hotel staff were so friendly so it's nothing on them but it's clear that the customer's experience isn't the most important part for the manager, it's about the profits and this would worry me for other problems that might arise for people."

"This was the most expensive hotel of the trip. Overall, the service was decent, the staff were friendly, and the view was okay. However, the hotel didn't provide free drinking water at all; there wasn't even a kettle. You had to buy water. I don't know if this is the case for all hotels in Kotor. Since the hotel isn't close to the old town and isn't within walking distance, and there are no restaurants nearby, we had to eat at the hotel. Both breakfast and lunch were average and not very satisfying, and the prices weren't cheap either. Overall, it's a hotel with a low cost-performance ratio, but this might be a common situation in the Kotor area."
