"I chose this hotel because I was on a road trip and it was conveniently located near the highway. I booked it about three hours before arrival and paid for it immediately through Trip.com. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the hotel told me that the reservation had not been paid, even though Trip.com had already charged the money to my account. I have no idea who was responsible for the problem, but the lack of coordination and professionalism between both parties resulted in me waiting around 35 minutes to check in at midnight, when I was already extremely tired after driving. Trip.com did not offer phone support at that time, only chat, and the person who assisted me was unable to solve the problem. The phone number they had for the hotel was incorrect, and although the agent told me they were trying to contact the hotel, they never actually managed to do so. As if that were not enough, the next morning I woke up early to take a shower and continue my trip. After about 10 minutes with the water running, there was no hot water left. I will not return to this hotel, and I will not use Trip.com to book hotels in France again. This is the second time I have had the same kind of problem with them."
