The location is across the street from the Jacksonport beach with several restaurants within walking distance. We plan to come back."

"We've made an extended weekend stay at Chanticleer Cabins an annual event. The cabins are situated on 50 acres of wooded trails, offering a variety of wildlife. You'll find a small pond just beyond the cabins. Early morning, on the balcony or patio of your cabin, affords you the opportunity to watch the wildlife get a morning drink. Two of our favorite cabins are the Evergreen and the Oak, both well-appointed and furnished with everything you need for a memorable and comfortable stay. While the cabins are located at the southern end of the Door Peninsula, they are still a reasonable drive to all the small towns that make Door County unique. The innkeepers, Bryon and Nick, are top-notch hosts. Homemade chocolate chip cookies are delivered every day, and daily breakfasts are reminiscent of the small cafe fare of Europe. We've experienced a wide variety of accommodations in Door County, and Chanticleer Cabins is our top pick for quiet getaways.
