"I booked 6 rooms, we came to Eger with 12 people for a team building. The rooms were quite old, retro / old school. The rooms were clean. The hotel was in the city center, easily accessible. The staff was nice, check-in was quick and easy. The spa department was very bad: the jacuzzi fell apart and the jacuzzi water was dirty and sandy. For many of us, the breakfast was also disgusting, several day-old kind of bread and low quality food."

"Positives: The hotel is well located, the staff is nice. Negatives: Not a good experience overall, especially for 88 EUR/night. The room was small, but that's okay for a one night stay. There is only AC in the middle of winter served as a heater and if I turned the temperature over 21 Celsius degrees (outside it was around 0 degrees so very cold) the AC was so loud, I couldn't sleep because of it. The wifi was not working at all. I wouldn't recommend this place."

"The room is as in the picture, everything is there. But. But!!!! The front door lock was broken, they didn't fix it, they didn't change the number. The door to the bathroom does not close. Food in another building, 5-10 minutes from the hotel, normal, from 7 to 10, but by 9.40 there is little left. The bedding, beds, pillows are good, as well as stylishly done in general, but there are already a few cracks on the walls."

"We had a mixed experience at Saliris Resort Egerszalók. On the positive side, the hotel is still very clean and well maintained. The pools are spacious, and even though the hotel seemed to have quite high occupancy, the pool area did not feel overcrowded. The wellness area and saunas were in very good condition and met a good standard. The staff were very helpful, kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, there were also several negative points. The mattresses were extremely soft. Both of us woke up with back pain in the morning, and even a person weighing only around 50 kg sank deeply into the mattress. The hotel also feels like it has already passed its best years. It is not quite as luxurious as it tries to present itself in its PR materials. Updated information about the opening hours of the sauna and wellness areas was not available in the room, so we had to go to the wellness area or reception to ask. The telephone in the room was not working. We had half board. Breakfast was rich, tasty and varied. Dinner, however, was rather disappointing. The food was acceptable, filling and reasonably tasty, but quite average, with too many fried options. It was definitely not a gourmet experience. Parking is a real problem, although this is partly due to the hotel being built on a hillside. Parking a car with a bicycle rack was very difficult. There was also no proper place to store bicycles. The helpful staff allowed us to place the bicycles in the luggage room near reception, but that room can only fit two or three bicycles at most. Overall, the experience was mixed. The thermal pools, saunas and wellness area are certainly worth visiting, but the hotel itself does not fully match the price it charges for the stay."

"The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is good, and the service communication is basically no problem. Bring a swimsuit to enjoy the sauna in the hotel. The address is between the train station and the old town, and there are almost no shops around. There is no kettle in the room, so if you are thirsty, you can only go to the hotel bar to solve it. It should be noted that the check-out time is much earlier than that of ordinary hotels."
