"This was the first place we stayed at on our Italian road trip and what a start. From arrival to departure the staff were so helpful and professional whilst being approachable and courteous. Thanks to Rosa our waitress. The location is great for Herculaneum and we also took the local train into Naples. We were aided by a paid taxi service provided by Nicolo. The house and its gardens are impeccable and the rooms have a high class design to them. Breakfasts provided at your preferred time outside your own room was plentiful and fresh. The food served , we ate here one evening was delicious and if you want conversation both brothers were on hand to offer advice and just " have a chat". We continue our road trip and can only hope that the next accommodation we stay at can somewhere meet the standards provided here. Would highly recommend."

"We loved the hotel, it was beautiful. The breakfast food was lovely, dinner was fine dining which we did not realise when booked. The room was nice with a lovely view, location was a bit out of anywhere but you can walk to the main town in 40 mins"

"In my opinion, Palazzo Adele is the best place we ever stayed in. If we go to Ercolano again, it would be our only choice. The building is very elegant. The terrace on the 2nd floor (or 1st floor in Europe) is spacious. The parking is gated, only opened with a key fob. The room is spotless; I even feel comfortable walking on the floor barefooted. The owner is such a nice guy! When we arrived, he gave us a warm greeting. He also provided us with some great advice on how to go to visit Vesuvius and Pompeii, as well as where to eat. In fact, he printed out some useful information, which became our guidebook in the following few days. We went to the Herculaneum Site as he suggested, spent nearly 2 hours there, only covered 60% of the whole place. We followed his instruction to purchase the tickets to Vesuvius, and had a great trip there. We asked about restaurant, he suggested a few of them. We tried the best one on the list, Bistrot Italia, fantastic food, affordable price, nice wine, and impressive service. It was so good that on the day we left, we went there again. The location of Palazzo Adele is great! Walking distance to almost everywhere (the train station, the Herculaneum Park, restaurants, The Royal Palace of Portici, oh and an amazing gelato place). The neighborhood is nice. I remembered we walked through a short tunnel and there was not even a slight trace of urine smell in the air, which was very, very impressive. All in all, Palazzo Adele is a great place to stay. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Naples and Pompeii area."

"Unfortunately, this hotel left only a bad impression. It's located in a terrible area, where it's best not to go outside in the evenings. Parking was provided at reception for a fee. When we arrived at the parking lot, they asked us where we were from. We said Russia, to which they looked unpleasant. A couple of hours later, when we picked up the rental car, we noticed a couple of scratches and a dent... We couldn't sleep all night because bedbugs were crawling around, and at 5 a.m., garbage trucks started rattling. It was the most terrible night and day!!!"
